Patrick Frazee hearing delayed to Feb. 19; prosecutors in Kelsey Berreth case release documents
On Friday, prosecuting attorneys Jennifer Viehman and Beth Reed agreed to release the all case-related documents, photographs and videosincluding the search warrant, police reports and the affidavit — to be viewed by Frazee as well as his attorney and staff.

Frazee, who lives in Florissant on a 35-acre ranch, had several friends in the court room that day. “I’ve known Patrick for 20 years,” said Gilda Dellinger, formerly of Divide. “He’s always been so kind and helpful.”

When Dellinger moved to Colorado Springs, Frazee helped shuttle her horse to the new home. “And he noticed that my storm door was broken and he fixed it for me,” she said. “I would never have believed this about him.”

@PommyMommy Thank YOU!! I knew I recalled videos somewhere mentioned by Atty. Jennifer Veihman.

IMO, PF had many good qualities or women would not have found him attractive, he would have few friends, etc.
I think if he were an ugly, hideous ****, KB would not have been remotely interested in him. Nor would a rodeo queen. Jmo
They “thought” he had good qualities.

I think he’s just as ugly on the inside, as he is on the outside.

I don’t get what people see in him. He must have had a wonderful personality...

Women really need to take note and heed the warning here! Gilda Dellinger was so impressed that PF not only shuttled her horse to new home for her --but he noticed her broken storm door and fixed it! That's the typical, good guy mask worn by guys like PF. I'll bet a door could be falling off the hinges at KB's place, and he would not have lifted a finger. His mask started slipping with KB a longtime ago. MOO

No transcript yet, but the gist of Joey Jackson’s comments regarding the civil suit, he thinks it’s very unusual timing.

I’ll check HLN for a transcript.
J. Johnson's comments (also on HLN) make the most sense to me so far. She explains that the wrongful death suit could be to get the upper hand regarding custody. In other words, if PF gets off in the criminal case, but the B's win in the civil case, he won't get Baby K back.

Kelsey Berreth’s parents are suing Patrick Frazee for wrongful death, negligence, and conspiracy. He’s been charged by the state too. Defense Attorney @JJohnsonLaw looks at both cases.

Why did LE go back to KB's after the dump run? There must have been something there that led them back to KB'S. They obviously didn't notice anything at KB's up until then that raisesd their suspicions.
Or maybe they had their suspicions, and needed that break, proof, to go back to KB'S.
They could have been playing stoopid, in order draw the demons out, like with the 'false ping' theory.
Make them think they're uber geniuses, and LE is a bunch of keystone cops.
It may have been a coincidence.

Someone could have started talking, especially as they saw the pressure ramping up on PF.

Clearly, law enforcement was closing in.

It’s also possible that they received some lab results back at that point.

Agreed...... Revenge also......MOO

It was written on the official family run missing facebook page. See post from thread 5 by Scdiv:

The admin and CB comments from Missing Mother - Kelsey Berreth facebook page - On December 6 post at 10:25 a.m. - were:

"I spoke with her a couple of times that morning. Going out for dinner was in the plan. We know she had picked up a few things at Safeway.

and

"She was going out to dinner with her fiance and daughter. She didn't say where."

In CB's media interview, I believe she simply said, "Going out to dinner was a possibility."

Thank you G, I had never seen that before, but I'm not on Fakebook either.

An “ugly” personality can make it thru life w/o committing murder. We all know a perpetually bad mood person, I THINK.
I’m guessing KB found him quite handsome. She’s very attractive, I don’t think she would have dated a man she didn’t find attractive. Jmo

She obviously saw something in him, there’s no doubt about that.

You’re right, plenty of people are horrible, but they don’t become killers.

He just masked his ugliness. For a time anyways.

I keep saying this. The child last name is a B. We do not know the birth certificate. This is a legal position an "informal" parental sharing. Looks like KB allowed PF time with the child but legally the child was KB's. I know we like to think he has rights and he would if he was married or had a formal custody agreement or was on the birth certificate. If the child's last name is B it most likely is not. Just to add, right now the State has custody. They State will have custody until a plea or a verdict.
Not true. In Colorado you can put any last name you want on the birth certificate. Also, when reporters asked the Police chief in the press conference on 12/14 about whether they were pursuing removing the child from PF he said they were looking into it. By then they would have pulled vital records and it is certain that not only was his name on the birth certificate but there was an affidavit of paternity signed by him and Kelsey as well. If that were not the case child services would have taken the child sooner and he would not be a party automatically to the custody hearings that were on-going. He would have had to take court action on his own (via his attorneys) to make him a party to the case and would have to pursue an order for a paternity test. None of this is taking place like that so it is certain he is listed as the father on the birth certificate and there is a affidavit of paternity.

I think this would be unlikely, why would they expose themselves to scrutiny with PF's dump run if they were involved in KB's disappearance?.

I don't think they were oblivious to the fact that PF was closely being watched at that point. I get doing a simple favor for a friend, but it seemed they were willing to help him hide possible evidence IMO. Did anyone confirm whose white truck PF was hiding in while they disposed of his "trash?" I know he owns a red truck, but uncertain if he was borrowing someone else's vehicle - especially if it was supposed to be a simple trip to the dump.

So PF was the same kind of saint CW was (eye roll).... Thanks@PommyMommy

I agree and I think the "something" was that KB fought back. I am willing to bet she fought back hard. Ive been thinking he originally went there to strangle her but she fought back so hard that it forced him to grab the nearest weapon he could find and that is why LE found additional evidence which could have been blood splatter or spots that he attempted to cleanup.

Wish we had closeup photos of him shortly after she went missing to see if we spot any injuries on him.
Yes! I've often wondered if he or whomever had to send that text because things did go haywire and he had to have extra time to clean up the townhome and maybe allow a few cuts or scratches to heal before he came under scrutiny.

Quick question......did CB specifically state that she is the one who visited CO rather than Kelsey visiting her home? I just recall her answering the question, "When did you last see Kelsey?"...."In October".

Is it possible KB visited mom's house, and her relationship status with PF was not an issue since they weren't in CO?
MSM quoted KB's brother in law early in the investigation stating that the Berreth's had all planned to be together in Idaho for Christmas. I've been under the impression that CB traveled to Colorado to celebrate her granddaughters birthday (est October)-- KB likely saving vacation time for December(?). MOO

Question:

Does PF have living quarters in his barn at the “ranchette”?
Where I live, most barns do have very nice apartments. It’s common for farm hands to live on site.

I really hope MSM doesn’t report stories misrepresenting another person/pictures of homes, etc of someone with the same name. Those facts should be checked and doubled checked way before reporting! Birthdates being the first thing to check....I had a very common first/middle/maiden name..... when I married, my last name became very unique..... crazy as it is, my husbands brother had married a girl with the same name as me..... so there were 2 of us with the same name, prior and after marriage (bizarre as it sounds).... we all went to the same Dr’s, etc...it got so confusing we had to change and go to separate Drs, dentists, etc. MSM really needs to double cross check!
Unless libel laws have changed significantly in the last decade or so, news outlets have very little incentive to use care in their fact-checking. In order for an individual to win a libel suit, they have to prove that the news outlet had reason to know the info was false or that they intended malice when they printed it. In most cases, the news outlet assumes that what they are printing IS true, and they usually don’t have malice. So in this age of instant journalism with Twitter etc, the outlets rush to put info out and don’t worry about it too much. As long as they’ve tried to verify with at least a couple of independent sources, they feel like they’re covered. JMO
