I'm gonna guess that it was after the deed was done. The question is did she say it because she really felt that or because she was trying to make herself look horrified and innocent to her confidant in order to cover her own behind?
Well, I'm thinking it was likely after the deed was done and she saw the horror of what he'd done when she went to get the phone (if that's how it transpired). I really don't believe she helped kill KB, just too willing to help cover it up and not do anything to prevent it for her own selfish, delusional reasons.
I just can't take the leap to say she helped in the "wet work." It could be that she made that statement to M after the fact to explain why she felt she "had to" take the phone. I listened to an attorney this evening talking about how she could not claim "duress," being under force to commit the crime (taking the phone) because she failed to immediately report it. I'm not sure of the exact sequence of her statements to M either. That's the problem with these ridiculous interviews. You can't make heads or tails out of them because the journalists don't follow up with the tough questions and the interviewees don't answer them anyway
We know M "begged her not to go" but we never heard that from her mouth only from the R's. We don't know at this point when she arrived in WP either. Was it the 22nd, 23rd or 24th? We KNOW she transported the phone on the 24th & 25th.
Something compelled her to go but it wasn't like PF was in ID holding a gun to her head. Did PF threaten to reveal something if she didn't help him? Hence fear of being exposed? Or was she a very willing accomplice? Once she got there and if she saw the body, there may have been "legitimate fear" (M's words), when KK saw what he was capable of. But, then again, is any of the "fear" narrative true?
Thankfully, it won't be too much longer before we get some solid info to fill in some of the blanks.
