It does make me a bit uneasy. Everyone thought SS was guilty in Natalie Bollinger’s case. She had restraining orders against him, he stalked her, he posted tons of disturbing videos to Facebook about her, he has a long criminal record. Then everyone thought her boyfriend was involved (including her family), because he didn’t report her missing and his gun was missing. He also had a criminal past. Turns out she puts a hit on herself on Craigslist and a random stranger replied and carried it out. You really don’t ever know. You could play statistics, common sense...and still wind up completely wrong.

Good point

Good example

I speak to my daughters multiple times a week, but if I didn't hear from one of them for a week or ten days, I wouldn't be unduly worried.

I’d think sister/brother would be a little different though. It sounds like they were close and talked as friends would daily.

Agree. But would he handle things the same way if his mother or daughter went missing?

I think this way but I realize not everyone does. It makes it hard for me to be objective sometimes. Do unto others and all that. If I would want people to be as accessible as humanly possible in the event that my loved one was missing, then I would have to do the same in return... So does PF just not think that way or is it a clear nod towards guilt? I’m trying to stay open minded

How do we know @bestill that she doesn’t have tons of photos of her baby? Can you please link where LE published the search of KB’s home to conclude that? Besides, every human is different. Not all women have the time or are interested in decorating with a ton of the latest and greatest photos. I’m not and I’m in my 20s. I don’t think that means anything suspicious. Besides, the baby was only born one year ago and I’ve seen nice professional photos online of the couple with the newborn baby anyway. Do we know if the father has “tons of photos” of the baby? If not, would you be concerned?

Unlike SW, KB wasn’t employed in a MLM where all of her personal friends also worked and communicated multiple times per day. I’m not. Some women just go to work, come home, and see friends when they can. KB was very busy with work and being a mom of a 1 yr old.

I very rarely post pictures on social media of my baby. Like maybe once every few months. I just prefer not having many pictures of her out there. I don’t necessarily think it’s the norm, but some people are just private. On the family’s official page, it said she rarely used social media/Facebook in one of the comments from her family

I apologize if this has been discussed (I can't keep up!)- do we know if there is a no-fly zone enacted in the area of the search warrant? I don't recall any aerial videos from yesterday or today. TIA

There were some aerial videos posted.

Kelsey's aunt posted one of the videos IIRC, maybe do a search on her posts.

So let me throw this out here just to stir things up... can one of you Occam’s Razor folks tell me the most likely explanation for why Kelsey’s phone would ping near Gooding which is right along Interstate 84 and a likely route from Woodland Park if she were to travel to Washington? I can’t help but think that’s maybe the biggest clue we’ve got.

The most likely explanation is someone engineered that to deflect her true whereabouts. If she traveled that distance, someone would have seen some sign of her somewhere. MOO

Taking a poll

Where do you think the crime scene is?

(A) Idaho
(B) KB townhouse
(C) PF ranch
(D) Somewhere between B & C
(E) There is not one yet, cause there is no evidence of a crime ... just a missing person

Do we know for 100% that Kelysey’s mom has ever seen the baby? Just wondering...have not seen any firm sign either way.
We know that Kelsey's mom hasn't seen the baby on this trip. I don't think we know for a fact whether or not she's ever seen her. Another good question for our VI.
@Kelsey's Aunt
MOO

Absolutely. Ariel Castro and his 3 victims come to mind. Everyone thought they were dead and gone. Eleven years after he kidnapped the first, they escaped and were rescued. But that is extremely rare.

Agree, but if he’s following everything his lawyer is telling him to do...he may not have much of a choice. It’s not that he’s not talking. He’s talking through his attorney, according to LE. I do think he is involved, but I wouldn’t be completely shocked if he wasn’t involved, either. If innocent, someone came after his baby’s mom, everyone is looking at him, no prior criminal history, he could be scared and is just doing whatever his lawyer says. The search of his property could have been because there was video of the two of them together that day, her last calls/messages were to him, a witness saw them together that day, etc. I think most of what is “convicting” him in the public eye could have alternate explanations, too.

I lean towards him being responsible, just not totally convinced yet

I'm not ready to lock him up and throw away the key. I think he is logically one to be looked at and ruled out, if that's how LE's investigation goes. He apparently is one of the last people, if not the last person, to have contact with KB. I still question why he didn't report her missing, and why he seems to have made no effort to search or help spread the word about his child's mother being missing. Would his lawyer stop him from reporting someone missing, esp. someone who doesn't have a history of that, per family? What about about posting "missing" posters? If so, that stinks, IMO.

Edited for clarity.

False ping

Occam's razor - it was deliberate to 1) Buy time with the texts to her employers and to fiancé. And 2) Lead the way to believing she really was on her way to see family and maybe even on her way home by then. I don't believe Kelsey had anything to do with her phone at this point.

Well with all the theories that have been floated...and there have been some amazing ones...I'd say she's on the road! With her purse and phone!

With objectivity

We do not have a murder weapon
We do not have fingerprints
We do not have a crime scene
We do not have a body

We do not even have any evidence a crime or coverup has occurred

BUT, we know WHO did it!

Nice ....

Respectfully, identifying him as the (current) most likely suspect and identifying suspicious behaviors from him is not the same as declaring him guilty. PF is the one who won’t sit down with investigators, and until he does people will be looking at him with extreme suspicion. Who wouldn’t want to help find their child’s missing mother?
