IMO the deposits that PF made at the ATM were checks that belonged to KB. I think they are going to say he stole them from her condo during the murder.
In Sam Kraemer's tweets from February 19, 2019 at 4;25 pm (in regard to the defense motion to drop the charge of murder with robbery):
"State replies that the sequence of events is irrelevant. Defense argued the theft took place after the alleged murder. Again state says that doesn't matter. Defense now citing case law."

Are there any live streams of this trial or just reporters' tweets? Excuse my ignorance, still trying to catch up here.
Nope, unfortunately, the reporters can't even tweet from the courtroom or anywhere on the courthouse property. We're stuck with tweets when there are breaks and they can run across the street!!! MOO

ETA: There are about 3 1/2 pages of trial notes so far in the media thread. You have about 2 hours to read until the morning break takes place!

7 pictures between 4:20 and 4:30. 7 times he went in and out in 10 minutes! Thank you for this post Pommy.
yes, i noted that also. and many members are wondering how he got the tote in and out but i started thinking maybe he dismembered her in bathtub and carried sections of her out in trash bags which we would not see in the pictures because of the fence. and then put the bags in the tote in the truck. i asked about field of view because i'm wondering how wide of an area the camera sees. and if the camera saw the truck, which i doubt.
anyway, this is kind of the theory i'm rolling with now. may change later.

Interesting, can’t wait to hear more from both sides on this.

I doubt you are trying to understand where I'm coming from. Patrick may be charged with murder but the charge doesn't make him guilty. I respect our system of justice.

I merely pointed out that the prosecution has yet to point out to the jury how much blood evidence was detected by chemicals at the residence of KB. I don't know that PF burned anything in his mother's front yard on the date in question nor do I know his mother witnessed it. I do know KK lied to federal agents and has an agenda for keeping herself out of prison.

According to sworn witness testimony under penalty of perjury, PF told lie on top of lie. I'm sure it's difficult to accept what we continue to learn from every person who takes the stand when IMO you want PF to be innocent. But based on the evergrowing evidence, he's not.

To get Sam Kraemer's nightly live updates of the trial go to Facebook and search for Sam Kraemer TV. That's how I do it. The past videos should still be all there, as well.
Tonight's live will be at 8. 10 Eastern.
It's a fast way to get the latest if you don't have time to read all the posts here. I do both.

Well come on in little darling .... we've been waiting... pull up a chair and let's chat a spell.
There is speculation on who these out-of-town people are. Yes it is probably KK, but I would think that her friend (legal secretary) from Idaho who KK told that she (KK) was asked to kill someone would appear in court first to give the jury a "vital first impression" of KK telling the truth. Others from out of state coming to the trial might be forensic specialists, but yes, it is probably KK and before her, I would expect the lawyers and the secretary, and anyone else in Idaho who KK told about PF asking her to kill the mother of his and Kelsey's child.

Evergrowing is right. Whew, have we ever heard some explosive testimony this past three days!

Yay for the prosecution! Fry this @#$%!!!

That makes a lot of sense. I bet you're right. MOO

I still have a lot of questions regarding KK. IMO something really stinks about her.

HA! LIVE STREAMS!?
BITE YOUR TONGUE!

The Judge in this case has banned everything under the sun, including but not limited to:
  • No video in the courtroom or anywhere on courthouse property, including outside.
  • No photos inside the courtroom
  • No audio recording allowed in the courthouse.
  • No sketch artist allowed in the courtroom.
  • No live tweeting allowed from inside the courtroom
  • Reporters literally have to run across the street during court breaks to send their tweets
He also has pitched a circus tent outside the special entrance used by PF, to shield him from public view.

I'm pretty sure Judge Sells would have banned live breathing in the courtroom, too, if he thought he could get away with it.

People found to be in violation of the judge's Decorum Order are subject to severe penalties, up to a 3 million dollar fine and/or life in prison without the possibility of parole. Judge Sells would have preferred to make it a capital offense, but as we've all been told a thousand times on this thread, nobody ever actually gets executed in Colorado.

So there's that.

JMO.

Day 4 of the Trial.

Roll Call.

Who's Here For Kelsey?

Here Here! Hear Ye Hear Ye! Hoping to hear from SF today ... and KK tomorrow! And let’s all us Sleuthers get along ... we all want Justice for Kelsey!

In her lunch break report yesterday, Jennifer Meckles of Denver's Channel 5 News described at 2:12 in the video that "you can't really tell much". She commented that his back was to the camera in all of them EXCEPT the one that verifies that he picked up the baby at around 12:30. She said that the CBI officer said he identified the person in the photos as PF by "....he looks like him, and the T-shirt, the hat, the jeans and the shoes that all seem to match what PF was wearing that day. Ms. Meckles says that in her opinion, it looks in several of them like he is carrying a baby, but she couldn't really tell.
So, I'm really confused here. If there is a fence that is higher than PF's waist blocking the view, how did the officer observe his jeans and shoes? Also, is the back of PF's head that distinctive? So are we really discussing identification of a hat and hat and t-shirt, with possible baby? As always, JMO.

My understanding of that shot was that the three of them were inside the house with the door open. So, the camera angle allowed for a full body shot.
