Details of Disappearance
Halford was last seen in Georgetown, Colorado on August 24, 1979, two days after her vehicle was found abandoned six and a half miles up Guanella Pass Road and tagged by the state patrol. She has never been heard from again.

Halford lived with Vincent Darrell Groves at the time of her disappearance. A photo of him is posted with this case summary.

Groves associated with pimps and prostitutes and provided them with cocaine. He was convicted of second-degree murder in the 1981 death of a 17-year-old girl and sentenced to twelve years in prison, but he was released in 1987. In 1990, he was convicted in two other women's murders and sentenced to life in prison.

Groves died in 1996, at the age of 42. DNA testing conducted after his death tied him to several further deaths. Authorities believe he could have been responsible for as many as twenty-four murders between 1978 and 1989, most of them in the Denver area.

Halford's was the only case tied to him where the body was never found. Foul play is suspected in her disappearance due to the circumstances involved.

I came across this UID and it really reminded me of Norma. Posted a photo of Norma Jean Halford below. the stats seem to line up pretty good.

I didn’t look at the profiles, but I think the noses are way too different.

Yeah your right I was focused on her mouth and eyebrows but did not think much of the nose as I was just thinking that maybe it swelled up from falling down the embankment she was found ha!.. you have a good eye, I trust your judgement.

Omg you know I just had a thought also someone doing lots of cocaine their nose can change also.

I had no idea there were so many!!
Nasal deformity: what is it, symptoms, causes, prevention and treatment | Top Doctors

Some types of nasal deformities are:

Deviated septum – the cartilage that divides the nostrils (septum) is bent to one side. Enlarged adenoids – lymph glands at the back of the nose (adenoids) can become enlarged, blocking the airway and causing sleep apnoea. Swollen turbinates – the turbinates on the side of each nostril clean and and humidify air being breathed in. When swollen, they hamper breathing. Saddle nose – there is a depression in part of the nasal bridge. It is also known as “boxer’s nose”, and can be caused by a number of things, including trauma, certain diseases, and cocaine abuse. Nasal/dorsal hump – a hump in the nose is relatively common and is usually formed by excess bone or cartilage, depending where on the nose it occurs. Often running in families, it can also be causes by trauma.
