CO - Possible Serial Shooter Has Colorado Drivers on Edge #3

Probably o/t unrelated, sounds like there were some spree shootings in Denver last night. (There was also an incident the night before off Peoria St, likely unrelated but I think I might recall that street name from upstream.)

"DENVER - Tuesday morning brought several shooting investigations to Denver Police.

Denver Police say in all three shootings, there were reports of a white SUV being possibly involved. Investigators are working to determine if all three shootings are connected."

Whether these attacks share perps with others that we've been following, this sounds like the type of madness that we've been tracking.

Four in two days, all within eight miles of one another:
- One person killed near Peoria Street and E 47th Ave., Montbello neighborhood, Denver Monday [11/24/15] morning. Schiff, KUSA, http://www.9news.com/story/news/local/2015/11/23/montbello-shooting/76248990/

- A man shot, non-life threating injuries, near Glenarm Place and 24th Street. Police responded at 4:59 AM, 11/24/15.
- A woman shot, non-life threating injuries, near Forest Street and East 36th Ave. Police responded at 5:07 AM, 11/24/15.

I had assumed that the victims were unknown to the shooter, and that he shot at them as acts of random violence. Why else would someone want to shoot a homeless man? Why would three non random victims all be out on the street so late at night? If the attacker had targeted the three for some other reason, why didn't he make sure he killed any of them? Nevertheless, according to the reporter, "Police want to reassure folks in this neighborhood that as far as all the evidence indicates, these shootings appear to be not random, they appear to be targeted, and there doesn't appear to be any greater danger to the community at large." The police didn't say why.

Shooter 6' caucasian man in his 40s, wearing long coat and Hunter's Garb using a high powered rifle being reported by Fox News.. Oceanblueeyes, there has been multiple shootings in the Denver area since the spring of 2015. It is anyone's guess if this is related to all the others, but the shootings seem to have moved south as of late..

Thank God Penrose Hospital isn't far away from there. Several victims were taken to Penrose.
