Yes, thank you. In some weird way I am linked to a lot of these people. Mostly through my daughter's father. He's Mexican. The man who has offered up reward money is related to me via my daughter...

If you don’t mind me asking, what does your daughter think about Rita’s disappearance?

"Family and friends of Rita Gutierrez-Garcia held a prayer vigil Sunday afternoon in Longmont's Thompson Park, offering comfort to each other as they covered branches of a tree with colorful ribbons and cards with prayers for her return.

Diane Romero, Gutierrez-Garcia's mother, had a message for her daughter, telling her the she won't give up, reminding her that their heats are connected and pleading with her to "make your way back home."

"You know we love you," she said. "You know your sisters and I love you.""

"I know they're doing all they can to help us," Romero said. "They're doing a lot to bring Rita home."

Gutierrez-Garcia's sister, Jessica Romero, said she's doing her best to stay strong for her sister's boys, ages 9, 13 and 18, who are staying with her.

"I'm trying not to breakdown," she said. "It's been nervewracking just trying to remember to breathe."

Diane Romero added that she's trying to protect the children and their young cousins from rumors about what's happended to her daughter.

"We're trying to keep them strong," she said."

"At Sunday's prayer vigil, those who spoke asked for continued prayers from the community.

"Prayer is the most you can do," said Desiree Garcia, Gutierrez-Garcia's cousin. "It can move mountains. It can bring miracles. It can help hurting hearts. His love for Rita will bring her home."

Dave Choutka, the pastor at Rocky Mountain Christian Church's Niwot campus, asked people to rally around the family and asked God to give Gutierrez-Garcia's mother strength and help the searchers.

"By the powerful name of Jesus, we do ask for a miracle, that she would be found safe and sound," he said.

Diane Romero, who described her daughter as a busy and bubbly mom, said it helped to see friends, family and community members all join in the vigil.

"I'm really pleased and happy that people came out," she said. "People are here for us, they're concerned and they love Rita just as much as we do.""

"9NEWS spoke to Rita's mother Diane Romero who had a message for her daughter.

Make your way back home. Find somebody who is willing to help you. Tell them who you are. Tell them there's people looking for you," Romero said. "You know we love you. You know your sisters and I love you. We're here today, for you babe. We're all praying.""

""It’s hard looking alleys and places you really don’t want to think of," said her cousin*Anitra Dominguez."

"Investigators did not find anything relevant to the case and Gutierrez-Garcia's mother, Diane Romero, said she's grateful they left the pond empty handed.

"That means there is still hope. I haven’t given up on Rita, I haven’t given up. I’m glad you weren’t there yesterday because it means there is still hope," Romero said."

GE in the article dated a friend of mine for many years....so I know him fairly well...just now took a look at the article. Should have recognized him earlier. This makes me think that maybe she wasn't surrounded by the most upstanding citizens...MOO

I'm not seeing a Help Find Facebook page set up yet.

I think part of the reason there is not a help find page may be because mom doesn't want people putting information out there that has not been released by the police. Some of the comments Ritas friends made about who they suspected have now been deleted.

I'm not getting hopeful vibes about this. I don't know her but from what people have said I doubt she would stay away from her 3 boys.

Do you think this could involve immigration issues? Seems like details about Rita’s life are few and far between, as far as the person she is. And evidently she is a Longmont native, so you have to believe there is more to the story than is being told publicly. What is the crying guy to Rita?

I believe I read that her first husband is living in Mexico.

No, I don't think it involves immigration issues. The crying guy is totally legal, but into some shady stuff. He's my age, or maybe slightly older so 40ish. I'm guessing he is just a friend to her or the family. We cross paths on the very rare occasions I go out with that particular group (mostly because I got sober and they are big partiers and trouble).
