Thing that jumped out at me was the neighbors often hearing him yelling very loudly at SW. My first thought was that she was at least being emotionally abused. Insiders said no. It was just like this with Laci and Scott. Those quiet, submissive men marry a spirited, confident woman and immediately start trying to tear her down. Poor Shanann.

People often fail to realize the damage of emotional and verbal abuse. It's like a silent illness (e.g., autoimmune disorders) that people can't see but it is just as painful and hurtful. Women are strong, prideful creatures and we'll put our best face forward rather than admit what we have been putting up with in private. Shan'ann did one hell of a job of keeping herself motivated for those girls and not allowing him to pull her completely down. I suspect he didn't like not being able to break her down either.

(well, that answers the question we all discussed over and over again, why he didn't perform CPR. Obviously, it's a moot point because he's the murderer, but his supporters were right, he didn't know how. Phhfft, I've edited, yep, he lied, he was CPR trained. )

I would be very leery of a man who told me he loved me after a month of a relationship. I would not think that that man knew what love is.

Reading these phone records you can see two things clearly, that their marriage was disintegrating, and CW only cared about NK.

He had an app called “Secret Calculator” in which he would store photos of him and NK. Some of them were “for his eyes only.”

OMG!! That's terrible but somehow I'm not surprised. It is aligned with everything we know about psychopaths and sociopaths. They literally aren't capable of the normal emotions but the good ones do learn how to fake them.

I have a twisted sense of humor (humor is a form of therapy in my family), so I'll be making a mental list of other things he googled.

I totally agree that the blame lies with CW, but I do find it hard to believe certain aspects of the person he was having an affair with and her account that she had no idea.. this is a possible motive... I do feel that Shanann was on to her, which makes me really sad because before she died she was trying to save her marriage and in the back of her head thinking Chris was cheating on her with this woman and then God knows what happened when she actually was killed but I won't bring up anymore questions about NK

In reading the discovery documents, I really don't think Shan'ann knew for sure that CW was having an affair. There are several pages of text exchanges between Shan'ann and her friends. Shan'ann was questioning whether CW might be having an affair, but I really don't think she knew for sure that he was and I don't think she knew who NK was. I think if she found out NK's name, it was the morning she was murdered. Maybe CW told her before he strangled her to death. I don't know. But if he hadn't cheated on her with NK, it would have been someone else. I believe the documents mention that he had a "string of affairs" or words to that effect.
