I don't believe CW prison conditions are any different since confession interview.
From both Attorney and CW himself, he confirmed he's in his cell 23/7.
CW stated that he's under escort every time he leaves his cell. He told Agents that he's supervised when shaving and is required to us a dull "safety razor." His exercise is basketball. When asked about getting a prison job, he noted something about his prison classification doesn't make that possible but talked about prisoners across the road having jobs. He hopes to help other prisoners in the future. I also understood the taunting from other prisoners happened in Colorado, and not as being reported today. MOO
Yes. I don’t buy this either.

The account from Radar online, jibes perfectly with CW’s account to CBI investigators, when he was discussing his prison conditions in Colorado.

We all hope his prison life is miserable, but I don’t think anything has changed.

Yes, I think just because Radar and the DM say he is on suicide watch, does not necessarily mean it's true. It's funny how these particular "news" sites always appear to have found LE or prison "sources" who are only willing to speak to them exclusively.

I think Dude is surprised all the way around. I don't think he expected anyone to miss his wife so soon. Then I don't think he expected all the attention LE gave it. Then he was apparently surprised that he got LWOP. Bemused at the inmates taunting him. I think that either speaks to the general way in which he's so dissociated from the crime (and his family) that he has a hard time seeing what all the fuss is about OR, as our favorite vocal-fry mistress said, that cheese done went and slid off his cracker. (paraphrase)
Great analysis on Dude.

He talked like he is in prison for only a little bitty bit bad thing he did last August. And that he is magnanimous, has forgiven everybody, has no resentment, wants people to move on already. And oh yes, he wants to be a mentor to his fellow prisoners (super creepy imo).

Yep, washed his hands of it, he never knew what or why it "happened" they just "passed", even smothering little girls with 2 big muscular hands and a blanket caused just brief mild stress. He wasn't really there, you know. Doesn't even remember if he was a bad person who said YES to Bella when she asked if he was going to do the same to her. But, so what if he was, he doesn't remember. Pics of the kids in his cell, reads to kids at night, his wife forgave him, her parents still love him, his parents still love him, and clearly the CBI/FBI agents are his friends who laugh at his charming wittiness, if only until his words are released to the entire planet.
I do kinda wonder if the fact that they went to visit him wasn't leaked by some insider who saw the register, and sold the knowledge. Is it remotely possible that Tammy, Graham, and Dave thought no one would know, thus no CORA requests? Were they under any legal responsibility to disclose the fact a meeting even occurred?

Agree -- that mentor idea is super creepy!

How would that work?

"Dude... be happy like me. I annihilated my pregnant wife, and beautiful children, and wake with a smile on my face every morning."

The Agents are employees of the State of Colorado (FBI --federal government), and the doc/audio disclosure out of their control.

Not releasing the information would have required a court order overruling the state law. MOO

But how would media have known to ask. I understand how they would ask once they knew it existed. Does media routinely monitor his visitors log? Is that allowed?

I don't know if they do it routinely, but Jace Larson had CW's visitor log prior to the CBI announcement that the interview had taken place.

Jace Larson

Feb 18 - CW's interview
Feb 21 - Date on visitor log
Feb 28 - CBI announced interview
Feb 28 - Jace Larson posts on FB that he's had the visitor log for a few days

MOO

That's OK Pommy, I posted that link too. He said he had it for a few days but hadn't attached any importance to it, something like that. It was a copy of the visitors' log for Watts. I guess there must be some public aspect to that, but I thought I remembered back when he was first in jail it was kept secret.

Maybe after he was actually convicted and imprisoned the visitors' log became public knowledge.

This dirt-bag lied so many times , how do we know that this version is the truth? If he had have straddled her then strangled her surely she would have fought for her life yet there were no signs she did, more likely he did it to her when she was in a deep sleep, she must have been exhausted from her trip and late return?

Even if she was sleeping, she would have woken up and struggled.

I don’t buy his story that she didn’t try to fight back. I think she tried, but was powerless to do anything with him on top of her.

I believe that the medical evidence showed no sign of her fighting back rather than him saying it ifkwim,
Yes. But but if he had her arms pinned, she could have struggled but been powerless to do anything.

That wouldn’t show up in the form of defensive injuries.

I don’t for a second believe that she just laid there and gave up.

And no one gets strangled in their sleep without first waking up. Deep sleep or not.

Put in a different way, no, the medical evidence did not show she did not fight back, the medical evidence showed that Chris was not scratched or hurt. She may very well have fought back to the extent a woman encased in a sheet from head to toe can do. With arms pressed to her sides by his knees, or wrapped tight as a mummy would be. That's the way I understand it, not that there were "no signs of her fighting back". IIRC

I'll never believe SW did not fight for herself and the protection of her children.

I think this again is another way for CW to "blame the victim" --as if he would have come to his senses and released his grip from around SW's neck had she responded differently.

Liar, liar, pants on fire.

I understand what you are saying. However did anyone look up in that particular prison what the mentoring program is all about? In one of the prison's I could find the phrase that mentoring program consists of assisting other prison inmates with addiction services and other areas along those lines. Life goes on behind prison walls and it's actually a good thing if the facility trains certain individuals in certain areas to keep the costs of the prison down. It does state, on the site in the prison he is in that they do an assessment on the inmate upon his entry into the prison. Maybe that assessment either gives options or REQUIREMENTS to the inmate that he must fulfill: like working in the prison. The education level, level of intelligence (which may include an IQ test to verify the ability to learn and retain information), and other assessments could be made. Not every prisoner is going to have the appropriate requirements to do this kind of work. Maybe CW scored high that he had the appropriate knowledge or capability of learning to actually be able to do that kind of work program.

Personally I'd like to see inmates helping other inmates. It's in no way excusing what he did rather it's keeping the costs down in the prison's to save money from being taken out of the budget for the city or state or even government funding. It's not such a bad idea and if this is where he is suited to be placed the kudos to him.

To put it a better way: this could be a better solution than making the tax payer in the State of Wisconsin foot the bill to have a murderer in jail. Would you like to be paying for his bills in jail?
