MORPHEW CASE: We are in Chaffee County where court is starting right now. A judge will rule whether #BarryMorphew will go to trial or be let out of jail on bond for the death of his wife Suzanne

Judge said they had to do extra security screening and that is why there was a delay.

Judge says he wants to be finished by 5pm and he has to rule on if he will release the affidavit, so he is going to limit the arguments to 20 minutes per side. He will then have to determine what is next for this case.

Attorney Edwards is citing cases in other states like Rhode Island, Alabama, and Florida. He is talking about whether #BarryMorphew should be allowed bond or not.

I think it’s weird to have both sides make an argument when the judge already made his decision. What if one side makes an argument he didn’t previously consider? He goes back to think again for a month? What’s the point?

I don't get it either. Is the Judge somehow playing to the public's interest in this case? The attorneys think the Judge needs a refresher on issues around bond and probable cause?

Morphew is dressed in a grey suit, and did not turn around to address his supporters. Prosecutors are starting their arguments bringing up the fact that #barrymorphew said he loved Suzanne "to death."
