No where in the article does it read that a sex offenders DNA was anywhere other than the car. There are some false accusations throughout the article, mainly that there of no mention of partial DNA's. That is totally false, the information is well covered through out the AA. Smoke and Mirrors...nothing more. Still anxiously waiting for the release of the case file!
If the prosecutor's case is so solid, why leave out any DNA traces that were found?

Take note the defense allegations are all over the place. And an allegation does not make it so.
BM's defense seems to be all over the place with this allegation. An individual or multiple individuals across the country. Talk about trying to cover your bases! But you can't have it both ways just to suit your rhetoric!
From the link:

Attorneys claim investigators omitted crucial evidence in the case, including DNA evidence from an alleged sex offender, and engaged in “extreme and outrageous conduct.”

[..]

In the notice of claim filed by Morphew’s attorneys, they allege DNA evidence found in the glovebox of Suzanne’s car matches “the same profile as a single or multiple individuals across the country involved in sexual assault cases,” attorneys wrote in the letter.

[..]

Morphew’s attorneys contend after a year of having obtained the DNA evidence, Chafee County Deputy DA Jeff Lindsey followed up on an individual in Phoenix who appears to match the DNA profile found on Suzanne’s glovebox. But the Arizona individual refused to cooperate and retained a lawyer, according to the documents.

Let's play a game. Let's change this partial nonsense matching countless people, to a confirmed match to a serial killer. This is ridiculous I know, but for the sake of argument let's say it's those two things.

Make a case that this person is involved, while also excluding Barry, which every piece of evidence points to.

Ultimately there could he hundreds of DNA partials in anybody's house or car. Skin cells shed DNA. Just like a thousand places to bury a body in Colorado. You need a little more reason than just because it exist.
I'm more curious why an unknown abductor would bother staging a bike , not to mention take her phone charger from the bedroom, take her journal and they even managed to guess the garage code...quite the stealth abductor. You would have thought they would be wearing gloves.

Male DNA other than Barry's found on "SHEETS" in the dryer! The guy who's partial DNA they found, will not cooperate and has hired a lawyer!

No.

Just no. BBM

On June 3, 2020, the CBI Laboratory, hereafter CBI Lab, provided the results of DNA analysis for the CCSO case 20000911. Sixty-five evidence items, to include DNA buccal swabs from the Morphew family members, Andrew Moorman, REDACTED and others were listed. Of note, no workable DNA was recovered from the Bobcat blade, the PNUE-DART box or the dryer.

This is the full extent of the DNA.

On August 31, 2020, SA Grusing reviewed the Lab results with CBI Lab Forensic Scientist Caitlin Rogers to discuss results relevant to this affidavit. The following items were noted:

The DNA on the bicycle seat (Item 5.1) included a mixture of four people: Suzanne being the primary, with Barry and one of the responding CCSO personnel (Carricato) being included. The fourth male is unknown. (51 - This mixture is at least 12 decillion (10″33) times more likely to be observed if it originated from Barry MORPHEW, CARRICATO, Suzanne MORPHEW, and an unknown, unrelated individual than if it originated from Suzanne MORPHEW and three unknown, unrelated individuals [very strong support].)

The DNA on the bicycle grips (Item 6.1) included a DNA mixture of four people: Suzanne and Sgt. Mullenax being primary contributors. Barry was excluded as a contributor.

The DNA on the bicycle brakes and handlebars (Item 7.1) included a mixture of four people: Suzanne, Deputy Brown and Deputy Himschoot were primary contributors. Barry was excluded.

The front driver door (Item 25 .l) of the 2015 white Land Rover (license plate CSU58l) was tested and the DNA was consistent with samples from Barry and Suzanne. REDACTED and REDACTED were excluded. (52 - This mixture is at least 40 sexdecillion ( 1 0″51) times more likely to be observed if it originated from Barry MORPHEW and Suzanne MORPHEW than if it originated from two unknown, unrelated individuals [very strong support].)

A plastic hypodermic cover (Item 41), collected from the dryer, was tested by CBI for DNA. A low-level partial DNA mixture of two people was recovered, with Suzanne and REDACTED being possible contributors. Barry was excluded as a contributor.

A dart needle (Item 44.1), collected by CCSO, submitted as “dart from box in garage,” was swabbed and a partial DNA profile was developed, with REDACTED included as the contributor with “moderate”support.

The dart body (Item 44.2), collected by CCSO, submitted as “dart from box in garage” was swabbed and a low-level DNA profile referenced that EXCLUDED could have been a contributor.

The interior cushions of the helmet (Item 49.2) were tested for DNA and a partial profile was developed. The mixture was more likely to involve Barry and Suzanne that coming from anyone else by a factor of 6.2 times.

Libler’s DNA was collected and to date has not matched any known item of evidence collected in the case.

And they also took time to burn some things in the fireplace!

The most amazing part perhaps, is that they powered down her phone right before Barry left the house.

Barry is suing the prosecutor. Sex offender's DNA found on bike, helmet and bedsheet!!!!!! If the prosecutor did not put this in discovery, she is in deep doodoo. Barry Morphew plans lawsuit against DA, investigators over alleged DNA evidence pointing to sex offender
Agree. If same dna on all.

Yes.
Amazing.

After reading this article by the Daily Mail, I almost didn't post it because it's so full of errors, but whatever. Unbelievable that they got it all wrong.

"The lawyers claim that investigators intentionally omitted evidence of DNA belonging to an alleged sex offender found in Suzanne Morphew's bike, helmet, car and bedsheets."

"They also claim evidence was left out about the dart rifle Barry allegedly used to incapacitate his wife - it was actually inoperable at the time of the murder, lawyers say."

Barry Morphew will sue investigators claiming evidence found on dead wife was omitted from his case | Daily Mail Online

Does anyone believe that the DNA was found in the house? I thought the sex offender DNA was only found on glovebox?

It's one of those, we need to see the full case file, things. There is no mention of glove box DNA in the AA. DNA was mentioned on the door handle, but it wasn't a match to anyone but Barry and Suzanne, the girls (I think, redactions) were excluded.

For the record, Barry's DNA was under the bike seat and inside the helmet lining. Two things that were obviously staged.
