Re-posting my own previous to add a point.

E&N are skilled and diligent, but they aren't superhuman. The wins we know about are in cases they should win, that any competent defense attorney would win. If the plea deal DN negotiated for KK seems lenient there's a reason: without her testimony the prosecution has no case against the monster, PF. DN used that leverage effectively, but there are dozens of defense attorneys who would have achieved the same result.
I don't think one person reading views E & N as superhuman counselors! I share their cases to emphasize that E & N represent the best legal defense that money can buy. Justice is not fair-- ask any poor, underprivileged soul serving a lengthy sentence for a non-violent crime where the well-heeled defendant charged with the same crime receives probation. IMO, engaging E & N was the best decision of BM's life.

Barry requested immunity, hence, that has refrained me from believing a second person is involved.

IMO most people here assume Barry asked for immunity because he was going to admit to killing/ disappearing Suzanne. It may have been for another reason, say following the elks, not for non existent that time of the year antlers, but to shoot one for the freezer and he didn’t want to go to jail for poaching.

Around 5pm I believe, due to discussions around the store not being open after 2ish.

Could be wrong

Defense says employees at Salida Stove and Spa saw Barry come in to the store between 4-5:30pm on Saturday, May 9 and there was nothing odd about Barry's demeanor. Agent Grusing says he did not include this information in his timeline of events from May 9.

"At 2:45 p.m. #BarryMorphew did something terrible to his wife and then went to get his hot tub fixed?" Neilsen asked. Agent Grusing responded, "I don't think their timing is accurate." (referring to Salida Stove and Spa)

Grusing was asked about the 18-19 miles that were missing from #Barrymorphew odometer in his truck. Nielsen is talking about where Salida Stove and Spa is located and asked if it is a coincidence if the location to the spa is the same amount of missing miles, "No," Grusing said.

#BarryMorphew was confused about the timing of the Skidsteer and what day he had visited Salida Stove and Spa. He wasn't confused about who he spoke to at Salida Stove and Spa.

No receipt was found for the hot tub chemicals from Salida Stove and Spa. Inside the dryer investigators also found Khaki-colored shorts that #BarryMorphew was wearing on May 9th, according to surveillance photos. BREAK NOW.

How did they know they were the same shorts?

Barry was never going to admit to killing Suzanne imo.
He was going to tell a tale.

I guess when we finally get to see surveillance footage of what he was wearing at DSI on Saturday and compare to the photos of clothes in the dryer, we can judge for ourselves.
Perhaps LE could not find another pair that matched in the house. Must have been something distinguishing about them I guess.
JMO

This has been on my mind for a while. Is Barry working at all?

DSI is a huge company. Are they still giving Barry subcontracting jobs? Their website was an eye-opener for me. Lots of job openings available and plenty of projects are mentioned.
^^rsbm

Is Barry free to do commerce in Gunnison? Tan, work out, socialize with whomever he pleases?
^^rsbm
I'm not aware of a court decision preventing a defendant from employment. Based on personal experience, I've no doubt that BM continued working before his arrest and since his release from jail. Relative to DSI as a source of work, they appear to hire from the available workforce to fulfill their contractual obligations. A good example is JP, a self-confirmed convict. MOO

I still can't figure out the bike! Since she was home alone and bored, maybe she took a short bike ride and was abducted, possibly by two guys, and her helmet torn off and thrown out the window. We see women getting abducted alot. This, I believe, was never looked into. If that happened, she's long gone and IMO, only a deathbed confession would reveal this.

What isn't explainable by this is her not communicating with anyone at all after 2:47 on Saturday. IT was mothers Day... she didn't check in at all with her girls, nobody before taking a quick ride, but not taking her water source with her? There is no evidence of her leaving the house after Friday night. No phone activity after Saturday afternoon and yet Barry has tons and tons of activity all over the place Saturday and Sunday and then lied about most of it.

It was also the wedding of a very close friend's daughter which Suzanne was very involved with and was going to attend remotely.

I think he had a lot of illegal activity going on that he could have fessed up to. I think Suzanne knew about some of it too and I believe it was referenced in her phone notes about reasons to divorce Barry. The more he talked to agents, the more he had to admit to his illegal things and maybe he had a full story he could lay out, but it would be incriminating in other ways. I don't think he was going to confess either. I don't think he will ever admit that.

I've not dismissed the idea that BM could have received help disposing of SM's body by an individual who knowing BM, had no reason not to believe he was helping BM dispose of a carcass he poached for its rack. I can see BM concocting a tale in his head about this -- a tale he thought he could sell to Agent Grusing, his trusted acquaintance.

Given BM is most confident when talking about work and hunting especially, I can definitely see BM wanting to get ahead of this if he thought the individual might talk to LE. For example, what if BM asked to borrow their vehicle to deliver the carcass to somebody else?

What if BM did in fact deliver SM's body in a borrowed vehicle to somebody he hired to get rid of her body?

Also, do we know if the Cushman's were in town on May 9-10? Could BM have used a garaged vehicle from the Cushman's?

Thank you @Cindizzi for never failing to deliver Twitter history at a moment's notice. You're a rockstar!! :D

I'm recalling that SM also did not respond to SO's important messages on Saturday afternoon/evening -- leading up to Sunday's big event.
Yes. I guess they were Snapchat messages that Suzanne would always check promptly. Of course she did not this time, as dead people can't use Snapchat.

Barry can use the old I was snowed in excuse. Also, we womenfolk here are all quite capable of driving through the mountains here even without monster trucks. Goes with the territory. Our daughters and sons can as well, in fact mountain, snowstorm driving is taught in driver’s education in high school.
Gotta find Suzanne.

Nor could the older daughter as an adult, read the arrest affidavit for her father of her mothers demise.
I would think a young adult daughter would want to read everything available on the case.
