And can't forget AM. All SM's family and friends. :(

While in Salida, AM stated during an interview that Barry couldn't sell the PP home for seven years after Suzanne went missing because that's how long it takes to declare someone dead after they've gone missing. I felt so hurt for AM when Barry managed to circumvent that law by gaining guardianship over Suzanne on the grounds of her being incapacitated which he filed a petition for doing so on June 1, 2020.

Barry proceeded to finalize the sale of their IN home and then their PP home was sold on March 3, 2021 for $1,625,000.

The family has confirmed to me that #SuzanneMorphew house has sold. She is the Chaffee County mother who went missing on Mother’s Day. Law Enforcement has not released a suspects name in this case and her body has not been found. #Shinebright4Suzanne #FindSuzanne

"In addition to the Puma Path house selling, Suzanne’s husband Barry Morphew also recently sold another property in Salida, Colorado. The land was a 2-acre vacant lot in Longhorn Ranch Subdivision which he purchased in June of 2020 for $165,000. In February of 2021, the property was sold for $150,000."

It can't be done if it contains "genetically limited data," as this sample supposedly does.

They could rule someone out, but never trace it back to a specific person.

For instance, I have 32,000 matches on AncestryDNA. That's just people who have uploaded their DNA, and match to within a certain threshold.

We don't know what that threshold is here, but it could be much smaller or greater.
Just another point of information…

I see some are saying the hits that were generated are a relative of Mr X. If they got a hit, it’s not necessarily a relative of the person whose DNA was found. It could just be a random person whose DNA happens to match on whatever points they do have.

That's thing thing. He assumed it immediately, which is pretty ridiculous considering he hadn't been informed of any tell-tale signs, and how rare that sort of thing is.

But by far, the most damning is him continuing to throw it out months later.

You notice the lady's reaction though, when Barry said crash she remained in place and just looked at Barry, a few seconds after Barry said lion, she looked at Barry, then stepped back and looked at GD and put her hands in her pockets.
Found that interesting

I think he is so narcissistic and thinks he's so smart that he seriously thought the mountain lion thing would fly. If LE thinks it's an animal, they won't go looking through human contacts, text messages, etc. Easiest way to ensure the police don't pry into his secrets. Of course, we all realize it's an idiotic take but people like him believe they can fool anyone. But yeah, that's why his initial lie was an animal instead of stranger abduction.

You know what's missing?

Everybody else is trying to make sense of Suzanne being missing. Unreachable. Searching, stretching, you can practically feel them working through disbelief. She shouldn't be gone... we've got to find her.

Only one person hits the ground with a different starting point.

HIS story begins at the bike.

Everybody else is processing. He doesn't have to. And he forgot to back up his acting a few degrees.

He doesn't run home to check for himself, he doesn't enquire about hospitals.

I can't fathom anyone, upon learning their family member hasn't been located, instantly accepting they're not going to be found!!

He is devoid of urgency, devoid of disbelief!!!

Excellent observation. Everyone else is running scenarios outloud of where she might have gone, where she might be now, etc.

Barry? He opens with "lion?" With a stupid, fake grimace on his face.

Anyone know what Barry was working on with his skidster on the 5th? I looked up the GPS coordinates from the defense info dump and it's a lot across from Anytime Fitness. I was trying to see where he was when he accessed the device or the device that is unknown was associated with his phone. He was working on that property just across from Anytime Fitness.

These coordinates 38.516201 -106.062349

But what about the “distressed stumbling”? Doesn’t that count for something? No? Barry must have thought it would. He’s doing it a lot as the genuine people console him in the videos. It’s nauseating to watch.

YES...1000%
Instead of processing the situation he begins by setting the narrative!

What, now he has trouble seeing after dark?

Judge grants Morphew venue change

The judge in the Barry Morphew case partially granted a defense request for a change of venue in an order filed Monday night.
Eleventh Judicial District Court Judge Ramsey Lama stated in the order, “Because of the size of the community and the pervasive negative pretrial publicity since Suzanne Morphew’s disappearance, the Court finds that a fair trial cannot take place in Chaffee County.”
He further stated, “This is a high profile case in a relatively small county with a small jury pool. The media saturation is high.”
While Lama granted the change of venue, the proceedings will remain in the 11th Judicial District, shifting to Fremont County.
Morphew’s attorney, Iris Eytan asked the court to grant a related bond amendment to allow her client to travel to Fremont County.
Lama granted the request, restricting travel for court purposes only and allowing for overnight stays in Fremont County in order to accommodate potential difficulties driving between Cañon City and Morphew’s Maysville dwelling due to darkness and weather.

I think that's the Tailwinds Apartments, or a field near there?

Totally agree about the "wanna hike" texts, they have always seemed out of character to me also. And the fact that he throws "hiking or biking with the wife" around several times to MG, LE, etc. Seems like that was part of a made up alibi. Had BM EVER biked with Suzanne, ever? Did he even own a bike?

But yes, to answer your question, he could totally have texted from another device to make it look like it was SM. All you need is someone's iCloud password to do such a thing. I think he was keeping said device somewhere down by the river, perhaps in an outbuilding or something and he would go out there to spy. Problem is that even though an iCloud password allows you to see texts and email, it doesn't let you see things like browser history or app use. Only the phone itself allows for that. So he wasn't really able to find anything that way.

I never thought those texts were Suzanne on May 9th. We have apple phones, ipad, and macbooks. My texts would show in real time on the ipad and I could answer from it or my phone or someone else with the ipad could text as me from it. The same with SO's phone and my macbook. His texts go to my Macbook- we don't know how it got set up that way when we got it and we have never changed it. I sometimes reply to his texts on there if I know he isn't by his phone. Whoever receives it would think it was from his phone. I think Barry got an ipad or ipod or macbook and synced it with her iphone/icloud and was using it to pretend he was her. Also, me and my sister have both been signed on to her facebook account at the same time and seeing the same messages and both could answer from her account appearing to be her. It is really easy to do and Barry could have very easily pretended to be her on facebook or her iphone text message app.

I also believe that the hot tub was somehow used by Barry.

Cue the Google searches.

Hot girls in Fremont County.

I know I would have been calling out for my husband. I would have asked the officers, did you check everywhere? Just frantic and probably useless at that point to yell for him, but I would still likely be doing that. He just sorta strolled in and didn't even seem to be looking around. I would want to look around at least with my head side to side trying to see if something was out of place.. he didn't even seem concerned. It's like he knew what happened or something....

Upon walking into the house, BM lacked the kind of natural curiosity that would surely exist considering the house may have been a crime scene

Why would he automatically think it was a mountain lion when he didn’t ask where she was? He knew she was dead and he wanted LE to get on with the evening, believe him , go home, and forget Suzanne Morphew. That man is clueless.

Wait. These things are possibly inadmissible can’t come up at trial? they can’t have character witnesses for either side?
Nothing about his sexual history?
Strange.
I can't imagine much of the character stuff will come in, as a lot of it is unrelated to the crime itself.

Barry being a conman.

That beyond creepy dinner discussion about his daughter.

Groping and kissing Holly while eluding to further sexual contact.

Barry creeping out Suzanne's masseuse.

Those *advertiser censored* searches.

Showing that he's a horrible person doesn't prove he is a murderer.

Take note of the lighting in the home.

Does it look like Suzanne awoke, started her day?

Or does it look just like it would if the last person to leave the house left while it was still dark outside?

Yelling would be a very normal reaction! Watching the video, I couldn't help but think of a good friend that lives in a similar, isolated area, poor cell service, etc.. If this was her husband, child, or friend being escorted inside their home, the first thing upon entering would be to inform the deputies "Got to check the bathrooms -- see if the toilet seat(s) are up" one of many clues shared long-ago as a sign that she did not leave voluntarily. BM didn't even care whether the lights inside that cave were on or off!

No it doesn’t but a horrible person DID murder her, not a good one. His being a conman and groping Holly should come in. If his defense brings up what a Godly man he is, all of that should be laid bare by the prosecution.
