this isn't anything to do with lisa but i just thought it was interesting to compare these people when they were interviewed with DB and JI.

the guy at the start.....he actually looked sincere and as for susan smith well, she didn't exactly look too bothered about the whole situation but we all know how that turned out

Does anyone have a link to Jeremy Irwin stating that he ran across the street and said to the neighbor, "Please tell me you have the baby!" ?

I'm trying to verify if this is factual...or if he did say something like that, what he actually said.

TIA

There was one that he said he ran to the neighbor, or he ran next door, and they didn't have the baby...that's the closest I've got in the interviews I've seen. Hang on, I'll find the post.

ETA: Post 29
JI: “No, nobody comes to mind. We, I ran outside, I went to the neighbors, woke them up, she wasn’t there. Grabbed a flashlight and we ran all over the yard, and she ran all over the house. There was nothing out of place, she wasn’t there.”

I have seen this statement to,but can not remember where..I 'll see if I can find it

The way she says it was the last time that "we" saw Lisa, maybe she actually put Lisa to bed before Jeremy left for the night job. Maybe all the discrepancies in DB's story, especially the time line part, are because she wants Jeremy to believe that she had Lisa out of bed again that day after he left, when in all reality, she may have left Lisa there from the minute that Jeremy left the house, or even before. JMO.

10/8/2011 – ABC News Interview with Parents
http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/video/lisa-irwin-inside-home-14695353

Starting at 1:08 on the video.

Reporter: “Lisa’s parents now admit to ABC News that the Kansas City Police Department finds their story to be highly suspect. According to Lisa’s mother, just hours after her daughter was reported missing Tuesday morning, the police turned on her.” [voice over]

Reporter: “Did, did they accuse you directly?”
DB: “Oh yeah.”
Reporter: “What did they say?”
DB: “’You, you killed her,’ ‘you, you killed her, you, you know where she’s at.’ Um, uh, ‘Give everybody else closure,’ and ‘You, you, you know you did it.’ And I, I kept saying, ‘No, that’s not possible, no. No, no, no, no.’”

Reporter: “Did you have anything to do with Lisa’s disappearance?”
DB: “Absolutely not.”

Reporter [voiceover]: In a separate room, detectives were also questioning the baby’s father.”
Reporter: “In all this time where you have police officers storming through the room and saying to you, ‘She did it, the mother of this child did it,’ did you have a nanosecond of doubt at any point?”
JI: “No. There, there’s never any doubt in my mind.

Reporter [voice over]: “The parents insist they are not angry with police, that they understand they are just doing their job, and that they fully plan to continue cooperating.”

DB: “I wish that we can, we can find, we can find baby Lisa. {After a few seconds of crying) I’m sorry.”

I don't normally add in observations of what I see, but I wanted the context of the "I'm sorry," to be clear.

WOW Josie that's a good find. I actually laughed when I recognized B. Stanton giving his opinion on it. Sorry, I know that was inappropriate but I did.

The date on that video is notated as being aired "Broadcast on 11/15/07 by MSNBC"

Interesting. Thanks again Josie.

it just shows how good people cant be at lying on camera and deceiving people,i have no idea who the first guy on the video is but im pretty sure i would have believed him if i seen it at the time.

there was another video i watched about analyzing JI's body language and that was very interesting to say the least.

i'll have a look to see if i can find it again

This is an excellent post by Mountain Kat: [ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showpost.php?p=7275014&postcount=262"]http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showpost.php?p=7275014&postcount=262[/ame]

After reading that, then we have this:

"They said they heard noises (the night Lisa disappeared)," Bradley said. "I don't know if that was before we went to sleep or after." She said she had not talked to her sons about it because she was reluctant to put them through "anything else."

OK wait. I thought I could not get more confused about this case. But...

In the beginning, I heard Jeremy say the first thing he did when he arrived home was to check on the boys (boys plural). Don't know if that was a misstatement or not, because later he said he checked the boys but only one was there. I found that notable, but it may have all been part of MSM editing of his comments.

And also in the beginning, Deborah herself said the six year old was sleeping with her. This was before the "I got drunk and possibly blacked out" statement. However, even though she said she possibly blacked out, she still stated that she stopped by the boys' room and asked them if they wanted to sleep with her.

Today I read here on WS something about Deborah saying both boys were sleeping with her?Is what I underlined above a fact or just rumor? (That is, that Deborah is now alleging that both boys slept with her). And if it has been reported, who is the source please?

What's up with these people? 'It's black', 'it's white', 'it's purple'.....WTH? How many versions are there?

Dehrah said this herself in an interview... I tried to post the link.. not sure if it is working.. it is a fox news (video) called: Cops: Missing Baby's Brothers to Be Interviewed Again

[ame]http://video.foxnews.com/v/1241831280001/cops-missing-babys-brothers-to-be-interviewed-again/?playlist_id=87937[/ame]

she starts talking about it at 4:44

You know, I think SOME of the inconsistencies have arisen from sloppy reporting in the media. Example that comes to mind is one son vs. both sons being in bed with her. I have never heard DB say they both were in bed with her. I did hear her say that she told both of them that they could sleep with her, but only one actually got in bed with her after having a nightmare. Yet, some reporter apparently said that both boys were in bed with her and now it's being attributed to DB.

This video at 4:44 - you hear the mother talking about telling both sons they can come to bed with her....

There is another interview, where JI says only ONE child was in bed.. also, IIRC, Mother was in an interview saying that maybe the boy came to her bed...blah blah..

Sorry, not great at doing this, but there are MANY stories about WHO was in bed with the mother

This is the extended version from what we initially had seen here in KC. This is the best copy I could find. Note Jeremy Irwins similar gesture with his mouth and swallowing during the questions; "Did you guys hear anything about a dumpster fire" Jeremy Irwin answers, "We haven't heard anything about that", then Deborah elaborates that they "heard something about it..." (But Deborah had already admitted that LE showed her burned clothing")

about 2:00 into it.

Why would she ask them to come get in her bed when supposedly Dad was due home and then they would have wake the boys later so that he could go to bed. But the bigger picture is that in the MK interview she said they were awake and she asked them to come get in her bed. WHY? Obviously, little guy (her son) hadn't had a nightmare yet...which she said in some other interview...explaining why little 5 year old and kitten were in her bed...

So Why, as MF states in today's interview with MK, does she invite the boys to come get in her bed yet not seem to worry about the 10 month old baby.

Unless the nightmare is what woke the boys. But, you ask a very good question. According to DB, she was expecting JI home at 10. At 10:30, he was due or past due walking thru the front door. So what gives?

Another great post for the inconsistency thread. Man, that thing is growing...like Pinocchio's nose.

BBM: Exactly! This is why I am having a problem with the "boys in the bed" issue.. WHY lie??

I think the 10pm time to be home was an estimate. He had to get the job done that night. He ran into problems. In the world of contractors working on a remodel job, this is a known. I am sure she is fully aware that it might very possibly run over. She has lived with him for several years now.

And I'm sure LE will find this explanation about as helpful as I do.
