Constantly being logged out

Make sure you are on https://www.websleuths.com and not http (note the "s")

So...I have closed out my browser twice and come back and clicked on my saved bookmark and all is well. I have also shutdown my computer twice and everything is fine. I believe the problem is that the old bookmark for Websleuths was actually not https and the new one is. Anyway, the method I posted worked for me using Windows 10, Google Chrome (unsure of version).

Thank you Ham and Dave. my bookmarks were the older http and not the https link we are now using.
So deleting my bookmarks in both Firefox Quantum and IE 11 and replaced them with Dave's link.

The same thing seems to have worked for me on the logged out issue. I deletedit then replaced my bookmark with the https and then saved it, then I logged in with no trouble.

Windows 11? Microsoft upgraded IE to 11.

iOS (Apple) released an upgrade to 11 late in 2017.

The latest Windows update was pushed on January 9th, 2018 and it was a security updatefor Adobe Flash Player

From personal experience only the best Windows desktop browser for using WS is Firefox Quantum. I don`t have any issues with getting logged out.

Typo or brain fart--it's Windows 10 that I have. Sorry.

But fixing the stored bookmark seems to have solved the problem, as for everybody else.

Does anyone know, can it anyhow happen because of antivirus? Just when I turn mine off I don't have this problem. Now I'm thinking about installing a new one. I found an avast vs bitdefender comparisons. What are your thoughts on this situation? Should I try to change the software or it's something else?
