Is there any proof that vaccinated people are unlikely to pass the virus to others ?
The only difference I know of is that the unvaccinated usually get a more severe case or reaction to the virus. But vaccinated people can be asymptomatic and still pass the virus on to others.
The Risk of Vaccinated COVID Transmission Is Not Low
According to the CDC, anyone can spread Omicron (which still seems to be the dominant strain).
Omicron Variant: What You Need to Know
Spread
The Omicron variant spreads more easily than the original virus that causes COVID-19 and the Delta variant. CDC expects that anyone with Omicron infection can spread the virus to others, even if they are vaccinated or don’t have symptoms.
