I like Starbucks VIA Instant coffee. It is instant coffee but not like Folgers at all. Of course if you drink something fancy you’re going to have to get out your blender and get more ingredients.

i dunno, its slightly like that but for 9/11 everything went from happy days to everything grinding to a halt in a couple of hours, no flights no nothing but its only last what a day or so ( the consequences for 9/11 are far reaching even up to today)

this might end up even longer depending on what happens. many laws changed in Australia to combat terrorism after 9/11 the fact we need to show ID and Register when you buy a prepaid simcard is one of those laws, and if you have 4 or more your file gets looked at because apparently you might be a terrorist

I do drink something fancy but I am darn sure I will give it up and I will do what I can to help anywhere I can. We collectively are going to have to give up alot of things. Life for a while will be quit different. I am going to try my best to keep a sense of humor.

DH and I have tickets for an opera and ballet (April 5 and April 19) at the Detroit Opera House. While there are limited known cases of COVID-19 reported in Michigan, I have already told DH that I would not want to attend either performance if the number of cases increases over the next few weeks. Here's Michigan Opera Theatre's current statement regarding the virus. If Governor Whitmer suggests that all large public gatherings should be canceled, I hope MOT will heed her advice and cancel all performances.

oh brother, I was on my front porch talking to my neighbor who came by to tell me that Walmart was wiped out, the lines were long, people were getting angry (so glad I prepped) and out the door next door comes my other neighbor (a teacher) and her little boy runs right up to us, the teacher says...oh he has "strep throat and I have an upper respiratory infection"
I have been social distancing myself and today was my first day-FAIL
I felt like they have the black plague as I recoiled in horror...came in the house and felt like dousing myself in Lysol..

When I pulled into my driveway yesterday after work, my neighbor who was shooting basketball hoops in his driveway waved and appeared to want to chat. I waved back and smiled while pretending to talk on my cell phone. Then walked into my house. Great neighbors, but lots of visitors, children, they are very social in the community and I didn't want to take a chance.
