They said it’s not the finger prick test but a different test. Haven’t said which test yet though, doubt I’ll get an answer tonight. I’m wondering if they are selling “kits” to place for future testing as the testing is being developed. We’ll take your blood for $250 but you won’t know your results for a few years once the test kits become more available.Re: FDA approval

I don't think they're going to move too fast. No dates announced that I can tell. I think this is laying the groundwork and building cooperation. It will be a long process, JMO. Hopefully they have smart, effective people working on this.I understand why the governors are doing this but think they may be jumping the gun a little bit.
US governors announce multi-state pacts to begin easing coronavirus orders
JMOI asked them which recently approved antibody test they were using, the Cellex or Mayo Clinic test. If it’s neither then which company manufacturers the tests? If they don’t have a decent answer I’ll report them, let the FBI figure it out. I have a hard time believing a town of 3600 people on outskirts of Houston are the ones who have first access to antibody testing.
I'm not sure they are "jumping the gun" when they haven't even stated when they want to re-open the economy by easing restrictions. JMOI understand why the governors are doing this but think they may be jumping the gun a little bit.

Ha this is like my “Jump Back Jack, Six Foot Rule” t-shirt I talked about designing in the early days when people weren’t practicing social distancing.More people need to support their local politicians by turning their odd phrases into positives.
"When Premier Stephen McNeil scolded his fellow Nova Scotians last week by sternly telling them, “We need to stay the blazes home,” he unleashed an expression that has taken on a life of its own. What may be one of the most Maritime phrases ever uttered by a public official has taken off around Nova Scotia, plastered on coffee mugs, emblazoned on apparel and inspiring songs.
My Home Apparel, a Truro, N.S., company, has sold thousands of “Stay the Blazes Home” T-shirts and has donated all the proceeds – $90,000 in two days – to local food banks, homeless shelters and a Nova Scotia COVID-19 relief fund.
...
The phrase inspired a pharmacist from Pugwash and a songwriter from Port Hawkesbury to write a Celtic song urging people to follow physical-distancing guidelines. Halifax rock band the Stanfields joined in with a kitchen party-themed song with a “Stay the blazes home” chorus, while others have written similar songs set to accordions and acoustic guitars."
Nova Scotia Premier’s plea to ‘stay the blazes home’ becomes rallying cry in fight against COVID-19
Good question, not sure if they are Harris or Chambers.JMO
Who knows in Texas. Curious to find out.
(Which county?)
Reminds me of the folded cheese-cloth mask that was recommended in 1918.
CDC shows you how to make your own face mask in 45 seconds
"‘CDC is additionally advising the use of simple cloth face coverings to slow the spread of the virus and help people who may have the virus and do not know it from transmitting it to others,’ the CDC says in a statement on its website.
- ‘cloth face coverings fashioned from household items or made at home from common materials at low cost can be used as an additional, voluntary public health measure.’
- ‘the cloth face coverings recommended are not surgical masks or n95 respirators,’ adams added on friday.
- ‘those are critical supplies that must continue to be reserved for healthcare workers and other medical first responders.’"

When it comes to survival, nothing has changed in the last 100 years.
FYI. I just ordered 50 masks on amazon for $17.95. Free shipping. The blue accordion ones. I'm pretty sure they'll be mandated for our servers when they let us open up fine in service.
Just search "medical masks" on Amazon and they'll show up. Third party sellers only.
my husband has a severe cavity or two
his throat/neck/jawline is swollen
the dentist ordered antibiotics for him and said they will call them when they have a day for emergencies
it's been a week
I thought the whole point of emergency is that you don't wait
at least the antibiotics have helped the pain somewhat lesson
Just waiting for Louisiana...How many people are going to end up dead or spreading the virus after packing up into churches?

Coronavirus update: Global cases pass 2 million, WHO backs wet markets, Donald Trump says he won't fire top expert Anthony Fauci
Updated 12 minutes ago
...
New York's death toll has risen above 10,000 as global cases reach 2 million, France has extended its lockdown until May, and Donald Trump says he won't fire his top expert on infectious diseases.
Meanwhile, the Federal Government has taken aim at the World Health Organisation's "unfathomable" backing of wet markets, and says Australia's restrictions won't be eased in the near future despite the flattening of the curve.
Federal Government says it is 'unfathomable' that WHO would allow wet markets.
"It's clear that these are dangerous ... and in our view, it is unfathomable. So we might disagree on this issue with some of the international authorities, but our job is to protect Australians," Mr Hunt told ABC News Breakfast.
When asked about the issue on Channel Nine this morning, Prime Minister Scott Morrison said he was "totally puzzled" by the decision.
"We need to protect the world against potential sources of outbreaks of these types of virus. It's happened too many times," he said.
The World Health Organisation has backed the reopening of China's wet markets, saying "they are a source of livelihood and food security to many people".
It has been mentioned that the White House would like to have a celebration upon re-opening. IMO this is why there was so much anger in today's presser. I believe it was mentioned these states are very connected by transportation and business and know what's best for their states/area.I'm not sure they are "jumping the gun" when they haven't even stated when they want to re-open the economy by easing restrictions. Maybe this will help? I checked with my chemical suppliers and they don’t sell to general public.Does Restaurant Depot carry disinfectant wipes or alcohol- I cannot find these anywhere!!!
My post doesn't mention the White House at all.It has been mentioned that the White House would like to have a celebration upon re-opening. IMO this is why there was so much anger in today's presser. I believe it was mentioned these states are very connected by transportation and business and know what's best for their states/area.
Cuomo's plan: During his daily news briefing Monday, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said the reopening process in his state would happen in stages in coordination with other parts of the Northeast — and would be complete only with the advent of a vaccine, which could take as long many as 18 months.
Fact check: Trump claims it's his call on when to 'reopen' the country. He's wrong.
