The male animal tech listed there on the link above (which is for another department, FYI) is married for quite a long time, with kids, been there for quite a long time, and on the board of some organizations...so in other words, far older than Annie Le, FYI.

most labs of these types you have to swipe or fob in. You can swipe to get into the building, then you have to swipe again to get into YOUR lab. Your card or fob does not work on anyone elses lab security unless the powers that be have given you access for some reason or another

Could the person who (perhaps) let her in the building have also let her into her lab. At that point she is in her lab by herself and the perp come along with HER CARD and gets in.

Although I do understand the FYIs.... Anything is up for grabs as far as a perp is concerned.... at least that is my HMO. :)
:blowkiss:

Did Annie recently return for school after being off for the summer? Or did she work all summer with the lab? It seems it would be someone who has known her or about her for a length of time.

I must respectfully disagree. It seems more the opposite to me. If you have ever planned a wedding, you know that ALL EYES and attention--not only of immediate famalies of two people to be wed--are on the bride, but also, all the eyes of extended family, friends and especially the fiancee. (I'm a year away from a wedding, and already have a lot of family attention focused in my direction.) Everyone around this girl had her in mind, was anticipating seeing her, expecting up dates, planning meetings. Her disappearance would seem all the more obvious, and all the more terrifying. Seems to me the killer was seeking the attention. It seems a crime of some sort of psychotic, posessive passion, jealousy perhaps.

Hi, Formnextnovel, that's a great post, even if you're disagreeing with me. You bring up some really fine points. I think that it's a mixed bag, especially because she's a workholic finishing up things at a high-stress Ivy League school and everybody's running around right before the wedding. She would certainly be missed by her family, but would they know who to contact at Yale (my parents wouldn't have). I think that it was her roommates, not her parents called the police. And if that was his plan, it didn't work; police were on the case by that evening.

And congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

I think it was Friday's Nancy Grace show when a lady who called in asked if the perp. could be someone from the family, I suppose that could mean extended family who was angry about her marrying someone out of her race.
Something like that. And Jean and panel were interested in that perspective.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Thank you. Has anyone questioned the family? Sometimes they wouldn`t want them to marry out of their race, and it`s a possibility they`re just keeping her away until after the wedding would have been.

CASAREZ: Ah! Very interesting question. I see what you`re saying. To Stacy Kaiser, psychotherapist out of Los Angeles. Marjorie has an interesting question in regard to all of that, and my thought was we haven`t seen anybody from the family. This is a missing person. This is someone that you want to find. Wouldn`t somebody come out and ask for help?

That's a sick angle. I don't think that is true at all. My money is still on the conventional pick: stalker.

IMO, I am thinking maintenance, contractor, along the lines of KNOWING hidden places that thhe average person, student would never dream of.

If I'm looking at the right guy, who got a speeding ticket in New Haven in 2009 and a traffic citation in Milford in 2005, then he was born in '72.

NG Mary Snow....inside job

not releasing manner of death........
abundance of evidence
DO NOT have suspect in custody.......

I'm not sure, but I think the legal definition of kidnapping is "forcibly holding someone against his or her will," so it doesn't have to mean "takes from one place to another."

Kidnapping is yes,"forcibly holding someone against his or her will", even if I'm out in the street, you grab me and hold on to me that's kidnapping, anyone holding on to you and won't let you go it's kidnapping, whether you are in your house, their house or your mother's house.
Sorry, just butting in here. Will keep reading thread now...

Mary Snow is a reall CNN reporter -- not used to getting yelled at. Wolfie never does that!
