Irene LaRosa was last seen in March 1971 (unknown specific day).

I came across the case of convicted serial killer Bill Bradford (California) who was convicted of murdering 2 aspiring models. LA County Sheriff's Department found albums of photographs of 54 women and released them to the public in 2006 to help identify. "From 1966 to 1984, Bradford posed as a freelance photographer, seeking to lure potential victims. Bradford photographed his victims in sexually explicit positions, committed sexual assaults, strangled them and disposed of their bodies in public places," according to wanted posters. " (article link at the bottom)
Many women were found to be alive but sadly several were found to have been murdered by Bradford, and others still are unidentified. As I was scanning through all 54, this picture stopped me in my tracks. She looks like Irene LaRosa! This woman, #40 has still not been identified.

She was added to Charley today! http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/l/larosa_irene.html

On the Facebook page, the owner talks about how Irene was the sister in law of murder victim Susan LaRosa. http://articles.courant.com/2002-11...02_1_vernon-police-forensic-science-polygraph (article from 2002)

I'm wondering if Robert is Irene's brother, or if Irene married Robert's brother...?

Irene disappeared when she was 17, though there was a possibilities that she could get married in such a young age, but it was more likely that Robert was her brother

Found one possibility: New Haven County Jane Doe (1979) http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/1196ufct.html https://identifyus.org/en/cases/9236. Estimated to have been deceased 1-8 years when found in 1979, which would put the approximate date of death between 1971 and 1978. She was discovered only about 60 miles from Ellington, CT.

The site says:

She may have had a congenitally missing lower vertebra. She may also have had arthritis which would have caused some lower back pain.
Identifiers

Dentals: Available. She had periodontal disease and several fillings in teeth. All wisdom teeth were congenitally missing.

Did Irene had all these characteristics?

Welcome to Websleuths, Fede :welcome5:! It isn't known whether Irene had these physical characteristics as there is little information available for her, but it is possible for someone to have them and not be aware of it themselves. The congenitally missing vertebrae for example may only be discovered by chance after getting a scan for an unrelated back injury.

Michael Bouchard is a Bridgeport Connecticut Police Officer who also writes true crime books. He has been looking into this case as well as that of Susan Larosa (who went missing in 1975 and found dead in 1978) in nearby Vernon. Susan LArosa was married to the brother of Irene. There were also several other girls/young women that went missing/murdered around that time frame.
see the first case on https://savagewatch.com/connecticut-cases/

Michael Bouchard will be on the Chaz & AJ Morning show (which is heard on several stations in Connecticut) I was told by Michael it might be on the 24th in morning. He has uncovered some information that might solve the murder of Susan Larosa and shine light on a suspect or two in the others.

I was listening to this at work, and I am in CT, and really don't ever remembering hearing about this case. I didn't get to listen to his whole interview, so I will be listening to it tonight. I hope he has found some good info to find out what happened.
