It was said upthread (I think by @afitzy) about Petu’s testimony not being corroborated by another witness, a document or phone data. I just cannot imagine a jury would give enough weight to her uncorroborated testimony such to cast doubt on the weight of evidence that is corroborated.

And I don’t see why her being on the phone makes her unaware of the trash dumping. She has eyes, so she sees what is going on. She has spent the day covering her tracks. This is just too late in the day to be relevant to the phone manipulation, driving, cleaning, fire situation.
Are you concerned about the age of the jurors?
I have mixed feelings.

FD had no houses under construction at the time they were on Albany. None. Sturbridge was done and that was last house he put up.

Entire situation of anything construction related makes no sense as Sturbridge had an empty dumpster which we all saw.

Insanity to think he was getting rid of construction debris.
moo
Absolutely. I live in CT, too- and in some towns (like mine) we have to pay for pick up of some bulky items,so the idea might have been that Fotis was being frugal. However all of that trash that was split up into so many bags would have fit into one large household container.
The ONLY reason to bring it to a larger city, like Hartford, and put it into multiple containers is for anonymity.
And honestly, if my boyfriend takes out a sealed fed ex envelope, ready for mailing - but shoves it down a sewer grating right in front of me , if I don't know what he's doing, I'm going to have a whole lot of questions. And if his estranged wife is missing, I'm going to contact to police, and tell them about it.
There's no way that garbage run looks normal to anyone.

And she knew it. Even looked to uproot a beautiful tree from Deercliffe rd to HER house at J4X.
MOO.

FD knew he had no options in family court and he lost his lawyer Atty Michael rose to help him imo torment JF.

Moo
One thing that has blown me away with all of this is how so many of their friends were all in with him divorcing his beautiful wife, mother of his 5 children, and taking up with the defendant.
Supporting and toasting "the light at the end of the tunnel".
Call me old fashioned, but what is wrong with these people?
MOO.

Regarding construction trash ….

Well we have evidence of trash generating activities on the day of the murder and trash dumping - in the form of cleaning 80MS yellow green sponge, black trash bag (“murder trash”)

There is ZERO evidence of any construction trash needing dumping on the 24th.

Doesn’t seem to any basis from which to infer MT thought it was construction trash.

I wonder how quickly after verdict is reached that parties have to show up and it can be read in court? We are getting to a point today where the courthouse is only open another hour.
Fwiw they have too much to sift thru that it will take time. I’m hoping they voted on the lesser charges and are focus on top charges. Easel folks are usually good at eliminating things and focusing. Sometimes this can be helpful but other times imo not so much. Maybe they are taking the top charges first? The jury instructions are over 50 pages too. I don’t think this will be quick or painless. Yes, but the jurors don’t know this because it wasn’t introduced by the state as evidence although perhaps they could infer it from pictures of the properties.

MT testimony was that she thought FD was tossing construction items. I think this is just another lie as she knew what was going on with Fore.

FD seemed to have several types of people in his orbit. Those he could USE (like JF) and those who were indebted to him for one favor or another (like PG - job, others he showed around Greece on their honeymoons, etc.) and those who were SLIME like he was, amoral as the day is long (like MT, attorney Rose, et al).

Indeed.

Rose out.
Meehan on his way out.

It was a dead end.

So FD hurried up the divorce process. Declared himself judge, jury and GOD.

And embraced the devil to do it.

Mixed ages around 50? Seems representative if MT is 51.

I thought there was a concern upthread about a generational gap in terms of the different attorney styles - the younger tech savvy prosecutors versus the bumbling horn who probably can’t work an easel.

I guess we don’t know enough about the jurors to pick that dynamic apart.

Also have’t heard any commentary about sleepy jurors, bored jurors picking lint off their socks.

Good point about those 50 pages of jury instructions @afitzy ! It took the judge over an hour just to read these, not read and absorb this unfamiliar information.
