Estranged husband Fotis Dulos & girlfriend Michelle Troconis were just arraigned in connection to the disappearance of Jennifer Dulos. The judge kept both bonds at $500,000 despite requests from their attorneys to lower bond. @News12CT

Just put conditions on any bond release. It must be posted at the courthouse, passports must be surrendered, and both must submit to GPS monitoring. @News12CT

Attorney for Troconis is Andrew Bowman
. He says she will post bond today. Attorney for Fotis Dulos is Gene Riccio. Riccio says he doesn’t think Dulos will post bond today. @News12CT

One another note: case was transferred to Stamford, which is typical for more serious crimes. If Fotis Dulos doesn’t post bond today, he will have to do so at the courthouse in Stamford and there must be a bond hearing there beforehand. @News12CT

Michelle Troconis, the girlfriend of Fotis Dulos, who is also charged with hindering prosecution and tampering with evidence is being represented by Westport Attorney Andrew Bowman. Her parents are in courthouse awaiting her arraignment.

6:37 AM - 3 Jun 2019 pst

Dave Altimari‏ @davealtimari
Courtroom cleared of all other cases and both attorneys are back in court so expect arraignment of Dulos and Troconis to begin soon.

7:48 AM - 3 Jun 2019 pst

Dave Altimari‏ @davealtimari
Looks like Fotis Dulos will be arraigned first as his attorney Eugene Riccio is at the defense table. Riccio is no stranger to high profile cases he represented Kyle Navin, the Easton man convicted of killing his parents.

7:55 AM - 3 Jun 2019 pst

In short@court appearance fotis Dulos says nothing snd jusge keeps bond at 500k. Prosecutor tells judge that state “expects more charges to be filed” in this case

8:21 AM - 3 Jun 2019 pst

Dave Altimari‏ @davealtimari
Fotis Dulos will likely not make bail today according to his attorney Eugene Riccio. Will be ordered to wear GPS if he does case transferred to Stamford for 6/11

When Jennifer served him with divorce papers on June 20, 2017, Fotis was ordered to “maintain existing” family medical coverage.

But by November of that year, Jennifer complained in a court filing that the family’s health insurance lapsed “due to defendant’s [FD’] failure to pay” and that she was “unable to take the children to certain medical appointments” — to which FD allegedly replied she should “pay out of pocket.”

Divorce litigation and custody:
In March 2018, the court denied FD access to the children, saying there was “an immediate and present risk of psychological harm to the children if they have unrestricted and unsupervised contact with the defendant, as well as a risk of physical danger.”
The court also said he had a history of lying under oath and had encouraged the children to lie on his behalf.
However, the court reversed its decision and found it in the children’s best interest to implement supervised parenting time.
After the court granted FD supervised visitation this February, he and JD could not reach an agreement on a schedule. In March, Judge Donna Heller granted FD supervised visitation every other weekend, starting March 30. He was allotted seven hours on Saturdays in Fairfield County and six hours on Sundays in Hartford County, which could take place at the Farmington house. FD was also granted three hours of visitation on Wednesdays in Fairfield County.

Still wondering about what was found in JD’s abandoned 2017 Black Chevy Suburban. I know that LE can’t tell us but: Where are her car keys? Purse? Garage door opener? Were they all located? Still no word on her cell phone as well. I had thought it would be helpful if she had a Fitbit watch or something similar but I haven’t heard anything to that effect either.

Yay I made it through the thread change portal lol!

I just want to mention that most new cars now whether expensive or cheap come with programmable garage door openers. Meaning you can program it on the ceiling of the car to press the button and the garage door will open without a garage remote.

Also did JD pack an overnight bag? I can’t imagine JD wouldn’t want a couple of items with her. Did she intend to drive to NY or take the train?
What was missing from JD’s home? Any items that were significant or noticed to be missing? So many questions.

Finally, I’m on the new thread! Massguy and Hazelnutty posted about how <modsnipped- name variation> wouldn’t have cared about giving her a proper burial and I totally agree. I mentioned the Judaism tradition of burying in earth because I think he would do the exact opposite. I wonder if there was animosity about the older children having b’nai mitzvah. Again, the Norwalk River has been the site of many suicides, as well, so he may have been working two angles. She’s crazy and committed suicide or she was attacked while jogging. In reality, he knows she’ll never be found.

There’s a saying, something like, ‘You board the train in New Canaan and your coffee’s still hot when you reach Grand Central.’ However, the only train she could make would be the 8:53. The 9:38 gets to Grand Central at 11:08, after her appointment time. IMO, she was planning to drive into the city. If she was to leave by 9:45, she’d have time to reach the Upper East Side by 11:00.

Regarding the Find My iPhone feature, there also is an option I have with my kids and that you can have with others: Share My Location. At any time, you can look to see where the phone (ostensibly person) is. I don’t know about Androids but I assume a similar option exists.

My son once dropped his phone in a friend’s car and we watched the phone travel a few places until it stopped at the friend’s place. It’s a rather hidden setting that’s easy to activate.

There’s also the airdrop and shared Google calendars kids and parents use...so many ways, I’m afraid. :(

Also, I no longer remember how it works exactly but you can create a “phone number” with Google Voice so people can call/leave messages without knowing your actual number. Some professors I know use it if they don’t want to give out their cell numbers but want to have a way for students to contact them. It’s Internet based. Then FaceTime on iPhone, Skype on phones or computers, Zoom, WhatsApp, and more.

Also, we used to have HUM, like OnStar, and with the app, we could look on the phone or on the computer and see where another car in our family was in real time. If no one changed a password after a split, someone who knew it still could have access.

Not only that but I had a friend who used to log into her mobile-phone account each day to see what numbers her husband called. It didn’t let her see text messages but she could see text numbers and then do a search on the Internet to find out who that was. I can’t imagine doing that but she was somewhat obsessed wondering he was having an affair, etc.

And burner phones...

I also have been wondering if perhaps a close friend or someone from outside the country recently came to visit to help FD out, in a fast in-and-out visit. All just an idea; no evidence, of course.

Thanks for all you do and for how you care, everyone!

Ha! Gotcha.

I thought you were saying that he would take that into account, which he definitely would not.

You bring up a good point, what the hell was the story he was trying to sell?

I suppose the most logical is that he was staging a potential suicide, but who knows.

No one would have bought either scenario.

Local here & just signed up to be ready to comment when LE announces breaking news and they eventually will. I dog walk daily on the Waveny trails and drive by Welles Lane via Frogtown on my multi daily trips to New Canaan town. I say a Hail Mary each time...and will continue.

Welcome Genieeasy.:):):)
As you walk about the Waveny Trails, and drive near JD's home, you may see many Police vehicles, if Jennifer is found in these areas.
Guess you'll alert us here, so we can wonder what may be happening.

I agree with you Mrs.M. FD had contempt, fury, for JD. Remember revenge fantasys. Also when he killed JD FD wasn't thinking I'm going to caught. He wanted to kill her for ruining his plans of living the life he was entitled to. Kill her for being a rich, Jewish girl. Kill her for her disobedience. Remember in his mind he is her superior. So where would an evil, vendictive, soon to be financially ruined, man dispose of JD? Where in his mind, he thinks he is getting even with her. How would you dispose of JD that would bring the most pain to her family, and the most satisfaction to FD.
Time is a factor. However, I could almost imagine JD burying her in the cemetery that her Father is buried in. Remember she lied about taking the kids to pay respects at her father's grave? Instead she took the kids to a new home, in an area she wanted to live. Not the area FD chose for them to live.

FD graduates Brown - 1989
FD divorces first wife - 2003/2004

2004 - JD and FD marry (FD leaves Ersnt & Young CapGemini consulting and creates Fore Group) www.foregroupinc.com
A few more details for the timeline:

1989-1995 - FD works at Petros Dulos & Co. as a partner
1997 - FD gets a master's degree from Columbia Business School
1997-2004 - FD works at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young as a management consultant
2004 - FD creates Fore Group (www.foregroupinc.com)

June 2000 - FD gets married to his first wife in Athens, Greece
2004
March - FD files for divorce
July 12 - FD's divorce becomes final
August 28 - JD and FD get married in NYC

2004 - JD and FD move to Connecticut
February 2012 - The family moves to Farmington

2010
September 6 - FD's mother dies shortly after a car incident at his house
December 10 - police start investigating, not having been notified of the incident earlier

So where would an evil, vendictive, soon to be financially ruined, man dispose of JD? Where in his mind, he thinks he is getting even with her. How would you dispose of JD that would bring the most pain to her family, and the most satisfaction to FD.
IMO he wasn't overthinking that part. He just wanted to make her body disappear and get away with it. If she's never found her family won't know what he did to her body.
