Guess LE needs to watch Rena...if she ever leaves...to see if she's having trouble pulling her over-sized suitcase through JFK. :p:D

I did see a comment somewhere I wanted to run by those in know here. Can U.S. LE take a foreign passport from someone if that person is under court order to turn over all passports?
Very interesting question. The passports belong to the country and not the citizen.

Yes, I guess this could play out. MT has a young daughter and you'd think she would have done anything she could 8 months ago to get this off her back,
yet there she is in the yellow suit. Even if she was knowingly involved, given that her boyfriend has just killed his wife, wouldn't you think she might be saying to LE - "He threatened to kill me too if I didn't help him out...I was so afraid for my life too!!". FD has something on her. Either that, or she is just as cold-hearted as him and doesn't give a damn about her kid.

It worked for KK in the Berreth case.
KK initially lied and then had a 'plea deal' saving her skin.:(:(:(
MOO.

After re-reading the AW3 of FoDU, you cannot discount dismemberment as a possibility. The number of bags in the Raptor seen on C4 camera, it appears as though only two were recovered from the AW3 but not necessarily. What disturbs me is the mentions of cut clothing and torn bags or multiple pieces of bags. That might lend itself to the idea that she was bagged and then dismembered. But again that's not proof of anything. Bags could have torn or ripped for other reasons but when I read about JD DNA that isn't referred to as BLS or bloodlike stain I started thinking more and more along those lines unfortunately as it being a real possibility.
With FD taxidermy experience as a child in Greece, yes unfortunately I think it is a strong possibility he dismembered her body. He probably enjoyed the job- the sicko.
When he is behind bars they need to have a proper celebration of her life.
Poor family mixed up with a crazy, ugly looking (just in case he is reading - yes to FD - you are not handsome you are ugly and will get uglier in prison garb remember orange is the new black for you).

@AielloTV

defense team files motion to dismiss, claims lack of Grand Jury violates Fotis Dulos’s Fifth Amendment rights.
I guess this was the reference Atty. P. made to a 'constitutional argument' that would be filed.

Fd 5th Amendment rights violation? Perhaps he is simply going to go through all the possible Constitutional Amendments until even the 'Greek Benefactor' is BROKE!

Mmmmmm. Sounds like another 4.20 moment from Pattisville!!

Does anyone know when the last Grand Jury was convened in CT?

How will MT go out for a smoke?!
Interesting comment on house arrest for both MT and FD. At least I thought this bit was interesting. Speaks to a different level when the two were just out on bond with the GPS after the first arrest.

They can't leave the house, so if you want to go out and cut the lawn, you can't do that. You can ask the court for permission to be able to go out in your garage, because sometimes even going into the garage will trigger alarm to go off," said attorney and legal analyst Ryan McGuigan.
Fotis Dulos, former girlfriend under house arrest after release

Ofcourse LittleBitty relishes any possible issues those two may have while on house arrest. Hope it’s a stressful time for MT and FD...as it should be!

I think it was Skakel
a lawyer on the news said Pattis will use this to get around gag order

When we first started discussing the possibility of dismemberment months ago, the topic of how long it would take came up. According to the internet, if you have an idea of what you are doing, it takes MUCH less time than you'd think. The average answer seemed to be under an hour, with twenty minutes being closer to the "skilled" answer.

From what I understand, FD has a background in tanning from childhood. I'd think it's a safe assumption that he might be able to dismember a human faster than the average bear.

I'm still not sure whether this is what happened, but it remains a viable option in my head.

If this happened, what about her remains? Surely there has to be something, more than the discarded bloody rags etc.

Also, he would have had to flush blood down a drain. A lot of it. Did they check the drains? He would have likely made a large bleach investment at some point, no? I just hope that some of this info is known to police. Melanie McGuire, a petite nurse, dismembered her husband.

Interesting. When I got married in 2009, we received a bunch of checks made out to us both. When I went to my bank (we use separate accounts, mine is People's United), I was told my husband also needed to sign. Maybe because separate accounts.
^^sbm

I don't believe it's fraud -- especially with insurance checks which typically have dual payee lines. I believe AW confirmed these were insurance checks. The key word on the check is "OR."

Also, I know its acceptable for regular checks because I have a joint account with my mom that lives in another state and I can make deposits without her endorsement.

Except for the IRS, I think most two-party checks are issued as "OR." If you receive a joint tax return paper refund check, I know it must be endorsed by both taxpayers. And if you opt for an electronic/direct deposit refund it must also be deposited in a joint bank account.

Search for: Do both parties have to sign a joint check?

Can I deposit a 2 party insurance check?
Two-party insurance checks are the same as regular checks except that they feature two names on the “Pay to the order of” line instead of one. ... Party A or Party B.

If the word “or” is written between the two names, that means either party can endorse the check and deposit it into his or her personal bank account.

“They locked on to Mr. Dulos from day one,” Pattis said. ”They changed their motive. First, it was about divorce, and now they are claiming he had a financial crisis. His financial situation is not as bad as people have suggested. It’s actually quite good.”

BBM

OH REALLY? These two are unbelievable.
Do you think "actually quite good means"...

Someone else posted that it's acceptable to write Deposit Only according to UCC. Maybe some banks have their own stricter policy?
The deposit was acceptable and was consistent with the terms of the Deposit Agreement at People's Bank ("Any joint owner has the authority to endorse for deposit to your joint account any check, draft, or other Item payable to any or all of the joint owners of the account."). As I said in an earlier post, the only claim here would be if FD had somehow fraudulently opened the deposit account as a joint account and then JD's representative would have a missing endorsement claim. Which I see as possible as her having a joint bank account with him at that point seems beyond bizarre. But depositing a jointly payable ("and") check into a joint account, especially if not challenged by the joint payee within the time periods specified, automatically provides equal ownership and access to the funds to both FD & JD. Thus, there is no damage and no actionable claim.

I kind of feel like poor Jennifer doesn't have a proper advocate as her mother has to be overwhelmed with the task of protecting the children, and is 85 years old. Not to negate the efforts of her family, as I can only imaging what they must be living through.

I just see good old boy Fotis, laughing and smiling with law enforcement and my blood boils. This crime is so *advertiser censored* foul and yet he is out on bail. For shame! This man should never have had the option of bail, and I do think money and the fact that he is attractive, white etc is why he is out.
LE is not laughing with him, I think you are referring to his clown attorney NP and his crew?
LE as we all know has been heroes working this case, especially those assigned in the heat of the summer to sort thru garbage at MIRA in Hartford. They are all working hard to get a solid conviction and thru the grace of god they will.
Metaphor here:
Purple Rain down on FD in orange garb behind bars...purple is a nice compliment to Orange.
For those not aware Purple is the DV color worn by the police at the arrests and Orange is FD new color choice of wardrobe in prison.

Funny image of 'sister' Rena with a suitcase full of Fd FAUX passports schlepping through JFK airport!

Or, was the image of 'sister' Rena you imagined perhaps of her putting the Petite Prince into a suitcase and checking him through to Cyprus, Baghdad or Damascus?!

IDK the answer to your technical question about the passports but I do recall the language used by Judge Blawie in his terms of release paperwork and it referred to, "all passports". I think the process of surrendering the passports to the safekeeping of the Court doesn't mean that the passports are being 'taken away' forever, it just means that the person can't use the passports while they are in the hands of the court.

I do wonder in the Dulos case whether Greece can revoke the passport of Fd and ditto for Turkey (if he has a Turkish passport and citizenship, which we don't know), and then the individual Govt's ask the CT Court for the foreign passports of Fd to be returned to them as they are technically the property of the Govt? Curious questions....
