New information about Sally: Investigators identify remains of woman missing from New Haven for 53 years

Sally was reported missing by her siblings when she disappeared from New Haven, Connecticut in July of 1970. She had moved there from Schenectady, New York because her then-husband was studying at Yale University. However, Sally had already divorced from him at the time of her disappearance. She also had no children.

Here's an interesting, but very sad excerpt from the article. This was said by West Haven police detective Tammy Murray:

"She did have some psychiatric issues...she was kind of struggling with those issues."

This has finally confirmed my suspicions. I had a feeling she had been reported missing back then, just not added to a database like most missing persons cases.
