I am so happy he seems to be recovering well! I don’t pray much, but I have been since about 9:30 Monday night. He will soon know how he brought together so so many people, brought attention to CPR/AED use, brought about gratitude for first responders, and I would venture to say, made many people grateful for lots of different things.

Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin has been released from the hospital and is back in Buffalo, doctors at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center announced Monday.

Members of Damar Hamlin’s health care team said he is recovering even faster than they’d hoped.
Hamlin had his breathing tube removed early Friday morning, and by Friday afternoon, he was walking with assistance around the medical unit where he was being treated, his doctors said at a news conference Monday.
Dr. Timothy Pritts, a surgeon who has treating Hamlin at UC Health, said he is “continuing to regain strength. He’s certainly on what we consider a very normal to even accelerated trajectory from the life-threatening event that he underwent, but he's making great progress.”
Damar Hamlin discharged from Buffalo hospital, returns home for rehabilitation
BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin has been discharged from Buffalo General Medical Center and will continue his rehab at home, the Buffalo Bills said Wednesday.
Hamlin, 24, has not been seen in public since the Bills and Bengals last met on Jan. 2 in a game that came to an abrupt halt and was eventually canceled after Hamlin's collapse on the field.

"The thought of what Damar and his family were about to go through hurt my heart," wrote Pegula, who was in Australia for The Australian Open at the time. "I knew how important time was. I just kept thinking time, time, time, time. I hope they got him back and quick enough. The medical staff and trainers who assisted that night really saved his life and were tremendous in his recovery."
Pegula wore a No. 3 patch in honor of Hamlin during The Australian Open, where she reached the quarterfinals.
Buffalo Bills co-owner and president Kim Pegula remains in recovery following a cardiac arrest suffered in June of 2022, Jessica Pegula revealed in an article published Tuesday in The Players Tribune.
Additional stops on Hamlin’s tour are planned for New York City, Pittsburgh, where Hamlin attended college, and Cincinnati, where six months ago Hamlin went into cardiac arrest and was resuscitated on the field during a game.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin kicked off a multicity tour at his home stadium on Saturday to distribute medical equipment and promote techniques that helped save his life in January.
Hamlin handed out automated external defibrillators for close to 50 youth sports and community organizations on the Bills’ field at Highmark Stadium at the event launching his Chasing M’s Foundation CPR Tour.
The launch event included free CPR training for more than 1,000 people. Additional stops on Hamlin’s tour are planned for New York City, Pittsburgh, where Hamlin attended college, and Cincinnati, where six months ago Hamlin went into cardiac arrest and was resuscitated on the field during a game.
