A really serious question, not meant to be inflammatory OR sexist in relation to this thread or the horrid deaths of the boys.
My question; has a mother ever killed their children in such a drastic way? I know of poisoning, drowning and suffocation, possibly shooting. Stabbing is such a merciless and cruel method. All murder is cruel, but stabbing by a mother is inconceivable to me.
The thread title is "perfect plan". If DR did kill her children, could it have been planned, and by stabbing throwing law enforcement of the trail.
As Jeana said, yes.A really serious question, not meant to be inflammatory OR sexist in relation to this thread or the horrid deaths of the boys.

rocking;1850390 My question; has a mother ever killed their children in such a drastic way? I know of poisoning said:Hi, Rocking. A few years ago, a young mother in our town stabbed her two little boys to death right after serving them peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch. I'm not kidding. She was separated from her husband, and was attending a community college to further her education. The neighbors were shocked beyond belief, because she always appeared to be happy and upbeat, looking forward to the future.
We also had a case nearby of a father who had his 8 year old daughter and 6year old son visiting his lovely home on Christmas Eve. He and the mother were divorced, but they shared custody. Dad stabbed both the children to death while they were sleeping (the boy struggled, he tried to get away) and then stabbed himself in the stomach. The mother discovered them all dead when she came to pick up the kids Christmas morning. And believe it or not, no one ever suspected he was capable of such a thing. He seemed as normal as the next person, a regular guy. This one really hit home for me, because I think I may have had the daughter in my class when I was a substitute teacher.
Those stories didn't make the national news, because they happened in a small suburb of a small city in the U.S. Think of the millions of suburbs and towns in our country, and you'll get an idea of how many similar crimes never reach the general public. But they happen, they happen much more often than we like to admit.
