I searched but the only thread I found on this child had a single entry and was locked.

Eleanor Williams had just completed the first leg of a 1500-mile bus trip from Virginia to Kansas, and was sitting on a bench, exhausted from traveling with her 3-month-old daughter, April Nicole Williams, while waiting for her next bus. A friendly young woman came and chatted with her, and when the baby needed changing, offered to take her to the restroom and change her. That was the last time Eleanor saw her daughter.

Hoping Ms. Williams’ daughter April is located. It would not surprise me if April was living/raised very close to where she was taken from.

I just recently became aware of this case by reading the news article, which seems to have been published in various papers around the US. I'm hoping that it will get a renewed interest and gain some new leads.

According to a news article, Free Lance Star, May 4, 1984, Ms. Williams was unable to recall important details in the hours after the abduction. She returned 3 months later where the abductor description and possible middle name were given. See the excerpt below.
