It appears as though DNA is not available for 100% confirmation, according to the article. JD was cremated and her ashes have not been located. Only photo comparisons have been made to date. I hope the detective is able to retrieve something from the ME that will give them solid closure.

“Her body was cremated years ago — and Gray said he’s not sure the police will be able to find her ashes.”

“I’m not closing nothing until I find the perfect result that I need to know what happened to my sister,” he said. “It’s not over yet. It’s not over yet. They gotta give us more answers than that.”

She was cremated... just great. Seems Emmaline's family are certain the body's hers. So frustrating that we can't get confirmation AND her family can't give her a proper burial.
