Come home Relisha. I keep hitting F5 for this thread hoping something new will pop up.

I know. This waiting for something, anything from LE is tough. Off I go to complete another task only to return and as u say hit F5. Sigh.......

I think they might find her today you know. I don't believe Tatum's wickedness is a match for the goodwill of so many people.

Could anyone tell me what that black thing wrapped around Tatum's right ear is in all the pictures? Is it a security guard thing or a hearing aid?

Oh, another thing. Might be small but how is her name pronounced? Is it "Re lish a" or "Re leesh a" and how do you pronounce her middle name?

"Re lish a" Is how the news is saying it.

Someone was mentioning lime earlier. Remember, it was bought at Home Depot. You can search their website for the types they carry. Off the top of my head, I can think of 3 types. One for mason work/concrete/brick laying, one for lawns, and there is one for making cucumbers or pickling, called pickling lime. Not sure what the chemical difference is in the three.

Hey guys, why would they need a backhoe?

A backhoe digs in the back and it also has a front thing that scoops up things.

They can use the "front thing" (loader) to lift or move heavy objects like a log or fallen tree trunk. The scoop in the back is used for the more obvious task of opening up a hole in the ground or digging a trench.

I did an in-store search of the Home Depot store location where klt was seen, and came up with three possibilities (IMO) for the lime purchases:

lime for lawns:
http://www.homedepot.com/s/lime%20for%20lawns?NCNI-5

or

garden lime
http://www.homedepot.com/s/garden%20lime?NCNI-5

or

lime for landscaping
http://www.homedepot.com/b/Landscaping/N-5yc1vZbx51/Ntk-Extended/Ntt-garden%2Blime?Ntx=mode+matchpartialmax&NCNI-5

Using these parameters removes the Lime for Cleaning items, and other extraneous items. You should be able to click on this link, and see what else you can come up with. I set the store location as my home store location, and then selected "in store" items only.

I hope this is helpful in some way.....

ETA: I am still searching for items specifically related to the other parameters you mentioned, 2Hope4 (masonry and pickling) :seeya:

Haven't look in the Home Depot site yet. Gotta shower or I'm gonna need some lime for odor control... then off to the hospital to pick up my great aunt! She gets to come home today.

Sorry the link is a little lighthearted, but it does give a clear, non-technical explanation about why all types of lime preserves bodies. The idea it destroys them was discredited at least a century ago, so it always amazes me that it still has currency.

It is fortunate it has though because many criminals have unwittingly helped preserve evidence of their crime through this belief. Whichever type is used, it hampers natural decomposition. If Relisha is also wrapped in several bags, it is quite possible she will be well preserved - though I think surface evidence may be damaged.

Glad she is coming home...wondered what that smell was. :floorlaugh:

I have to leave soon also. Guess there will be breaking news for sure.

Great news about your aunt.

I posted what I could find from the Home Depot site :loveyou:

We have seen pics where Mom appears high. I truly wonder if she even remembers some of the lies. As long as she keeps talking and providing LE with ammunition I'm soooo good with that.

Agree 100%. Let her keep digging her own grave.

Interestingly, the possibility exists that klt could have ordered online and picked up the lime at the store. It depends on how much time he had (online orders have to be processed, and that's a gray area, IMVHO).

Here are the searches (online with same home store location) - I hope this is making sense

:scared:

lime for lawns (online)
http://www.homedepot.com/b/N-5yc1v/Ntk-Extended/Ntt-lime%2Bfor%2Blawns?browsestoreoption=0

garden lime (online)
http://www.homedepot.com/s/garden%2520lime?NCNI-5

lime for landscaping (online)
http://www.homedepot.com/s/lime%2520for%2520landscaping?NCNI-5

Do we know what time Tatum was in the park the first time?

And, any locals, can you take a vehicle in there?

I'm at work, otherwise I'd ask DH. He'd tell me down to last molecule.:tantrum:

When you searched their website, were you looking at the things in the store vs things online?

The 1st post was in-store, with the "home store" location where klt was verified as seen.

The 2nd post was online, but with the same "home store" location - allowing for the possibility of an in-store pick up of the items.

I'm sorry if my explanation (within the post) was unclear.

I was hoping you'd be able to click on the link, and the "home store" would remain. If not, homedepot.com might make you re-select it.

It's Home Depot #2538
NE Washington DC
http://www.homedepot.com/l/Ne-Washington-DC/DC/Washington/20018/2583

I remember the address only because I mapped the wrong address for the DC Shelter when the case 1st broke, and had to modify my 1st map from the NE address to the SE DC address.

The Home Depot is within very close proximity to an former DC General Shelter location, per another WSer. HTH....

ETA: I found verification of the Home Depot location, FWIW:

(snip)
However, another Days Inn guest who did not want to go on-camera told ABC7 he did see Relisha Rudd - not there at the hotel, but at the Virginia Williams Homeless Center on Rhode Island Avenue NE, around the 1st or 2nd of this month.
The guest said the homeless center is also where he bumped into Kahlil Tatum. Interestingly, the center is just across the street from the Home Depot store where Tatum reportedly purchased large, industrial-sized garbage bags.

:( :sigh: Please bring Relisha home, or at least back to the people searching for her. :please:

Took me awhile to catch up. I think its lye they use to dispose bodies and not lime. We have ran across vats of lye in other cases.
