I have a close friend that lives in Camden, and I use to live in Dover, which is just a few miles from Camden. I sent her the information. Her husband is in law enforcement in another town in DE.

I don't recall seeing her but I don't know why but the face to me looks a little familiar, nobody I knew at all. I'm wondering either I'm being hyper something, or maybe I did pass her somewhere. At any rate something about her face, I think they have the chubby face wrong...I think she isn't as chunky in the face. I sent the picture off to my friend who she and I went everywhere together. If the face rings a bell to her also...then I'll know I'm not just projecting something.

I wonder sometimes if the discrepancy in whether previous fractures are disclosed is simply because of the age at which the fracture occurred?

For example, in this case the victim had a wrist fracture. Suppose that it happened in early childhood- a fall from roller skates or a bicycle - you might barely remember it, and it is possible that your spouse/kids/younger siblings never even knew about it.

Thus, it might not get reported as critical information on the missing person's report.

That's an excellent point.

Ok my friend said that the image does look familiar to her too however she cannot pinpoint it. She is sending off to her friend who knows almost EVERYONE in DE. LOL

Actually my friend said to me and she lived not far away too and her husband is a cop said she had never heard about this at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know if they ruled out Tina Faye Kemp?

https://www.findthemissing.org/cases/show/6937

Tina Faye Kemp lived with her family 1/2 mile south of Felton, DE, a rural, agricultural area of Delaware. On Saturday 02-03-1979, Tina reportedly walked away from her residence after helping her family hang laundry outside. She has never been seen since. Tina had run away on two previous occasions. Tina had a local boyfriend who she was close to; no one in the family or the boyfriend ever heard from, had any communication or ever seen Tina again. Foul play is strongly suspected. Tina’s disappearance was the day before a heavy snowstorm. Felton is a town in Kent County, Delaware and is part of the Dover, Delaware Metropolitan Statistical Area.
She was only 15 at the time she went missing.

Looking at the two mouths:

ANYONE?

The Jane Doe had only an upper denture. Jamie Pankey had full dentures.

Greetings Carl,

As promised, this is a follow-up on NamUs UP 2262. You made an initial referral to me about this case in Nov 2009.

13 years after she was found, NamUs UP 2262 now has a DNA profile!

NamUs UP 2262
Date found July 20, 1997
NCIC: U056893472
Delaware OCME : 97-K-363
Bode Case: URE1001-0043
Kent County, Delaware. 40 to 60 Year Old White Female

SYNOPSIS:
Human skeletal remains located 6 miles southwest of Camden Wyoming, DE and .6 miles northeast of County Road 208. Area is a wetland, low lying wooded area, which was used as an old dumping ground for farmers. Skeletal remains were found at the base of a 15' pit wall. There was no clothing on the body but the victim was found with a black wrist watch and large blue hair clip.

Multiple blunt force injuries to the skull, mainly involving the left frontal, parietal, and temporal regions. Injuries measure up to 6" x 3" in greatest dimension. There are several semi-circular margins on these regions. Linear fractures of the fronto-parietal region measure up to 2 1/2" x 1" in greatest dimension. Evidence of blunt force injuries on soft tissue of skull. Possible brain injuries.

DNA PROFILE NOW DEVELOPED
STR and mtDNA profiles have been developed by Bode Technology Group, Inc. from skeletal remains samples submitted by the Delaware office of the Chief Medical Examiner. DNA profiles have now been uploaded into CODIS by the University of North Texas Center for Human Identification, Fort Worth TX (Lab ORI TX220035Y). The DNA profiles have also been uploaded into the Texas department of Public safety’s State DNA Index System (SDIS). The administrator of the state DNA Index System will upload these profiles into the FBI’s National DNA Index System for missing and unidentified persons. These results will be periodically searched against all appropriate indexes for potential associations.

Thanks once again for your continued "web sleuthing"!

Your efforts and those of other web-sleuths in this important endeavor is very greatly appreciated!

Please... please... keep searching and letting me know about any potential matches you uncover!

Very best regards, -Hal

since this UID is now in Codis, I assume any missing person with a DNA profile is by default eliminated.

Location: Elkton Maryland
Age last seen: 44 to 44 years old
Race: White
Height (inches): 64.0 to 66.0
Weight (pounds): 90.0 to 150.0
Hair: Brown - Collar length straight brown hair
Other: Wore contacts, Anna had a birthmark in the corner of her right eye
Last seen wearing: turquoise shirt and white shorts
No dental chart available

Strengths - comparison to UID
Age in range - 44
Date In Range - 1996 (2 years)
Last Seen Location: 48 miles: 1 hour away from UID found Location
Height: Correct - 66.0
Hair Colour: Correct - Brown
Weight - a possibility, but the range given is 60lbs (!)

There are minimal descriptive details of Anna Stefanatos - she was in care when she went missing.
Due to her past circumstances of travelling widely, possibly she has been overlooked because she was close to home.

Anna's Circumstances:
Anna was delusional and schizophrenic.
She was dropped off at the former Sunrise House (200 Booth Street) in Elkton, Maryland on June 11, 1996.
She never entered the building and was last seen walking towards High Street.
Anna had previously walked away and ended up in Washington D.C.
Anna was also found on one occasion on a military base in Germany.
After initially being diagnosed in 1984, Anna traveled to Greece, Italy, Germany, Spain, India, and China
for what she deemed was her "mission".

With the photo comparison - the shape of the UID's face compared to Anna's doesn't look matching - but the eyebrows, the eye shape, the nose, and the teeth seem comparable. (JMOO)

I came here to suggest Anna as well!! Not exactly sure if she had denture or not but the time missing and her height/weight seem good, brown hair

was she submitted?

hi, i came across this jane doe on another website (they named her kent county jane doe) and i think katie sinclair might be a possible match but there are a couple difference's.
I'll start with the similarities first.
katie disappeared from dewey beach, only 53 minutes from camden.
same height, age and weight (only off by 10 lbs)
cheekbones!!!!!
perhaps same style watch

differances:
both hurt arms but different ones
katie has greying blonde hair , jd is brown
katie has lower denture, jd has upper

katie went missing in 1993, jd was found in 1997 BUT ...the website i originally found jd on said her body was at scene 3 months to 2 years...so a little different there to, but could be off by a couple years.

they are both on namus but i heard the way they automatically exclude is not always accurate.
