No kidding. The line about not wanting the DP because it would set her free too easily, and would pain her family, takes the cake. It's been awhile since I've seen someone so dedicated to playing martyr. In the end it's ridiculous; she sculpts Her lies over and over to fit her narrative, and has the audacity to act surprised she isn't believed.
Of course, the only other card she has to play is to go at her actions head-on and accept responsibility for them. She has no capacity for that. Likely never will.
