Fox10 is going to replay the killer's statement in court soon.

Hmmm, I don't see her killing herself.... I think she will try to gather another coterie of fans at her new digs and begin to prance around and beguile them with her glowing personality and high intelligence (her thoughts, not mine). She will fail, I predict (and I don't want to know about any of it), and finally become just another lifer.

Her food there will certainly improve over what she had from the County Prison Menu (goodbye prison loaf, a pity). And now that her family thinks she is still such a good person, she will have lots of visitors (it's getting deep around me now). No more drawing pics until she gets some teen mags to trace (izzat possible in a state pen? dunno), so she may not be able to dazzle them with her artistic ability... and her prison buds will not even care. She'll just start to blend in with the rest of 'em, I think. And she'll begin to think of herself as a number. Not what her dreams were made of... For the rest of her life at Perryville:

What? She gets sunshine?!

I thought it was interesting that the judge did acknowlege that JA had mental health issues. Lol her saying that will
be another thing that will make JA angry after she has time to think about it.

There is a good reason JSS didn't blast JA in the sentencing. What she says is part of the appeal. Stating her personal opinions about what was said in the case could cause a good reason for appeal.

What she did say, was that she didn't feel the mitigation did not outweigh the aggravating factors. She stated, among other things, that the crime was premeditated. It was proven by the decision of the first jury and the 1st degree verdict.

Judges do it all the time and I've never heard of it being a problem in appeal but maybe it has been. The Devault judge did it and basically told her she was never abused. I think maybe it just isn't in JSS's nature and maybe she just wants to be done with it. Like Sam said, she's not worth the breath.

LOL Having lived in Az for a few years when I was in my 20's, I can say sunshine is not always a pleasant thing. In July it is down right oppressive. I will never forget my first summer there and a friend frying an egg on the sidewalk to prove it could be done.

The problem with JA is that she doesn't think like normal people do. She truly believes that she can fool everyone, including those in prison. She also has "greased the palms" of some at Perryville so she believes that she is going to be protected and have instant friends/followers. So for her today was not a defeat. It was simply a stumbling block until she "wins her appeal" and "walks out of prison free".

MOO

I agree. I think CMJA was pissed. Her true evil, condescending self was on full display

So, when does she leave to reside in her new "home" and is Troy Hayden following her. I just heard that Sky Fox is down. So maybe now one will follow her.

Troy is in California today for his daughters sporting event. He won't be following JA "home".

That looks too comfortable for me to feel completely satisfied with her being there. Couldn't they just her a single feather for a pillow, a string for a blanket and a cotton ball for a mattress? Not even joking. I want her conditions to be awful.

That's funny.........Nurmi wants to wash his hands of this as quickly as possible. He sounds as if his feelings are hurt because Jodi won't talk to him anymore. Poor guy.

I think he was really counting on having himself a life long friend.

Oh well.........a few million bucks in the bank should help him heal.

I don't know what to do next! Stay here and read posts while listening to YouTube or rewind HLN. As of now, Nancy Grace is opining. Maybe I'll wait a bit. Thank goodness I can FF through the commercials.

I will admit I had my ceremonial glass of wine a bit early while listening to JA and Wilmott speak. At least it dulled my responses for that time!

YouTube just agreeing with us that her admissions while speaking will probably hurt her appeal. There's no way that a person supposedly shot in the head and stabbed about 27 times as well as not being able to feel his legs was any threat to her when she slit his throat.

Jen said there are cameras set up to watch her being escorted so we will see.

Actually I thought he sounded totally detached from CMJA. I believe he is probably a good defense lawyer but CMJA was a terrible client because she refused to cooperate or even communicate with him.

I'm so glad she will never be free as she is a very dangerous woman. I'm glad the judge gave her the max without parole I had my concerns when I saw the defense motion that she would be out in 25 years. I hope she goes to jail and is forgotten because she will miss the attention being on her.

Thank you to all of you for all your posts and dedication in Travis's case I know how emotional and difficult it has been for all you.

R.I.P Travis Alexander.
