I agree!!! And her statement about this being a second degree case - get real!! We all know it was premeditated murder!!! The worst part for me in her presser after the trial was when she said they never said Travis was a pedophile. Totally outrageous and unethical. She should at least own it!! But now to backpedal and say that - totally ridiculous. She owes the Alexander family an apology.

I still wonder why JW and JA keep saying it was a second-degree murder case when it was so OBVIOUSLY a matter of self defense (according to them). Why accept a murder plea when you are totally innocent?

I have seen many different reports on just how long Jodith will spend isolated. Sorry some were on tv and some were tweets etc so i don't have links. It was stated somewhere due to all the publicity she may be isolated longer than someone we have never heard of. I tend to agree. IMO

Someone asked what the JAII lunatics were doing- spewing the same garbage they always spew. Trashing the judge, trashing the Alexanders, trashing Travis, trashing Nurmi (don't know if that's new or not) praising their leader, praising Sandy and Wilmott. They "W-I-L-L " be right there for Jodi long after we all have forgotten about this. I say good! Not only is CMJA rotting away in a hot Perryville cell but they will also be chained to their crappy website, both situations protect the rest of the public. Especially the two that go by Pandora and Maria, those two are unhinged and need to keep their crazy away from innocent people.

I bet that website won't last more than 3-6 months. Or at least until JA is not granted an appeal.

To me the worst thing for Miss Arias wasn't the death penalty, it was this..LWOP. Not because she loses her life so to speak but because they've taken away her voice. Jodi, who always has a story to explain away everything, is on mute. She has no choice but to sit and know her reputation is shot all to hell. Her minions won't rush to do her bidding too much longer, there's plenty of froot loops for them to adore.

No one believes her false reputation anymore. Her little speech erased any hope of that. She showed us her ugly all by herself. I have always thought that's part of why she brutally killed Travis. He was going to out her, to show her ugly to everyone. Without her facade, she is nothing. I still believe she planned the murder, figuring she could explain everything away with no problem. After all, she's always gotten away with everything, even the things she'd done to Travis already. So she killed him to protect her all important image.
Now not only is her image gone, she's been rendered silent. That for Ms Arias is hell on Earth. No more long overly detailed filled excuses. Just Jodi and her silence. The prison is filled with all sorts of nut jobs, she isn't the 'greatest' there. And if we can see through her, imagine how difficult it will be to pull off her ship when her audience is just as bat poopy as she is. She is in hell and much as it goes against who I am..I am glad.

I always believed Travis was alive until she stabbed him in the throat. He was potentially getting away, she was frantic cause she couldnt have him leave that bedroom. He might get help..his room mates would see him so as he crawled trying to get to safety..cause he could no longer walk due to all her stabbings and the shooting....she could not let him leave that bedroom and slashed him. I have always thought that is what happened and today she confirmed it. I feel terrible for the Alexander family..and I do think Jodi had to throw that in just to make their nightmares continue..cause otherwise she is just not happy. I did not hear any true remorse from her again and in fact heard nothing but lies and how she feels she was attacked etc...Come on Jodi figure it out..no one believes you except the few little groupies that you have. I hope Perryville becomes her worse nightmare..and I assure you she never had any intentions of killing herself..My goodness Jodi, give us a break!

I'm no fan of JW either as a human being or as a lawyer, but I think her on-camera words are simply a part of the legal theatre. In other words, they're part of her role. I assume that as soon as she's no longer the LWOP-er's legal representative, she'll pull a Nurmi and be gone in a flash. JMO, of course.

With respect, I don't agree. I do NOT think Wilmott was performing a 'work role': Nope, instead I felt Wilmott meant EVERY word she said about how wonderful 'Victim Jodi' is, and how 'social media' gave Jodi a bad break, and that is all super, duper scary ('oh, ABSOLUTELY Jodi is the victim!') Euwww.

I have questions re: The appeal. If not the right forum please let me know. Thanks I appreciate your help.

1. What will JA be appealing? The guilty verdict? Or the guilty verdict and her sentence or the sentence only.

2. If she is found guilty again, can the sentence change to death? Or could it change in any way? LWP or LWOP?

Thanks for any information as I want to move on as to what maybe coming in the future. ty

I thought of a few things overnight:

1. Is it possible that Juan DELIBERATELY tried to bait Jodi when Juan talked on and on about how the family was tormented to know whether Travis was conscious and aware when Jodi started cutting his head off? It seemed to me that Juan went on for a very long time on that one point. Could it be that the criminologists thought that might provoke Jodi to speak out to aim to hurt the Alexander siblings even more?

2. I never realized this. You know how Jodi took ALL those pics' of Travis, in bed, in the shower, b4 murdering him? Well, Jodi is such an immature Narcissist, don't you think that in Jodi's mind, she was committing the perfect murder - see, there is nothing that Jodi loves better than to have HER picture taken, to be on camera, so in her twisted and immature brain, she felt she would be getting Travis elated with the 'high' of having pictures of him taken, only to pull the trick suddenly and shoot him in the head !!!

I am also thinking that what Jodi did was had Travis in that 'last' sit-down pose in the shower, and Jodi 'steps out' for sec', tricking Travis about something or other, and then Jodi returns with the gun. Travis is shot into his upper right forehead and the bullet made its way to his cheekbone on the other side of his face, and did not wreck Travis' brain much. So, the reason for that bullet angle would be that, as quick as he could (all wet in the shower), Travis twisted to the right and put his right arm on the floor of the shower to help himself get up fast, but ...boom....

Also, re: pics, why didn't JA take the SD card and/or camera? She could of kept it as her trophy. She must of "lost" the camera during her sloppy clean-up. JMO.

FYI: According to ADC Travis' murderer has been reduced to a number--i.e., Inmate #281129 whose release date is listed as 12/31/9999.

Sadly, the one thing she did actually tell the truth about, she was going to destroy Travis during this trial.

She & her team sure tried, but IMO they failed. There was no evidence to prove their allegations, absolutely none. And no one who is sane believes anything she said about Travis. Travis' reputation as a good and caring man remains intact. The world got to know him through his family & friends and nothing Arias did or said could change who he was and how he will be remembered.

Wilmot will still be handling the restitution hearing which is not scheduled until June 1 so she is still representing Jodi in that capacity.

That is perfect since they are such chums! JW holds her murdering pal is very high regard. Minus those 2 or so unfortunate minutes when the bad thing happened, JW thinks the convict is just a peach!

Yeah, but she'll never be paroled. Manson's sentence was commuted because CA did away with the Death Penalty for awhile in the 70's and he's never been paroled.

Nor have any of the other 'family members' involved in those gruesome & cruel murders (truly what most consider among the 'worst of the worst.').

On a general note (not to LinasK): I thought the AriasAnxietyPalooza would have played itself out by now. But no? First, fears abounded that JSS would acquiesce and give Jodi whatever she wanted (aka LWP). Some had JSS releasing Jodi back into the free world as part of the fantasy fear. That didn't happen and was never going to happen. Now fears blossom that Jodi could win an appeal? On what possible basis? What judicial errors were made that would form such reversible error?

She took the SD card out of the camera and put them both in the washer, intentional action, imo.

On another subject, does Perryville limit the inmates to postcards? If not, I can envision her writing lengthy letters to media, her supporters, etc. and getting her word(s) out early and often, once given the liberty of owning a pencil and paper once more.

I've always felt the gunshot was first also, while he was sitting in that shower..It incapacitated him long enough for her to get those initial stabs in. I think he was just trying to frantically get out of the shower and get out of that room to get help..I think he used his hands to block the knife and honestly I think his only goal at that time was to get away from Jodi and get help. JMO
