This was no slip and fall accidental drowning.
Shhh, you are not allowed to say slip and fall. It is against the rules.:maddening:

Sorry I'm so out of the loop but is the original medical examiner still around to explain his findings, if one can call them that?
The ME who did the original autopsy died at age 44 of cancer in 2010.
It sure sounds like she was beaten and bruised in a period of time before her death. I'm thinking she may have been drowned in the toilet and dumped in the tub still alive enough to flex her feet and try to get up.
I HOPE the state can make it through the rest of this testimony with no mistakes. This is POWERFUL testimony for Kathleen imo.
think that she was slammed against a wall and fell to the ground bruising her buttocks? If the head shows a blunt force trauma, what would be a possible scenario for the head injury and the backside?
I am just having trouble visualizing the possible sequence of events and would be interested top know others conjectures on that subject.
I also would love to know how precisely this expert thinks that it happened
He may have hit her on the head first to stun her, then threw her into the tub, landing on her bottom, and she struggled, causing more bruises. The shins are interesting though. And the hand. I think the hand was a defensive wound of some kind.

My belief is more toward him striking her with something, perhaps his baton, immersing her head in the toilet bowl (drowning) then putting her body in the tub on her left side so as to conceal the bruising.
MOO
(that is with a fist) or is it indicative of a sharp instrument? I haven't heard anything said about that...except that there was some info that it wasn't a deep wound and it was narrow (knife?)
