''Eustace Compass was 43 when he was found dead inside his 3 Oakdale Rd. home in Vaughan on Nov. 7, 1990. YRP’s Homicide Unit — Cold Case Section say a new video outlining his death will hopefully garner some tips from the public.''
''Officers found the garage door open and Compass naked on the bedroom floor with a gunshot wound to the head.
''Aside from his car, police also identified several other items missing from his house, including a $50 watch, $50 gold tiger eye ring, his wallet and a sterling silver fine tea set.''
''Compass was last seen around 5 p.m. on Nov. 6, 1990, at a Supercentre grocery store in Richmond Hill with a man.
“Mr. Compass was only about 5-foot-6 tall and he was seen driving in that area by a neighbour with a young, blonde male in the passenger seat of that vehicle.”
''The investigation revealed that Compass frequented Toronto gay bars and often brought young men or sex workers to his home in Vaughan. Sometimes, he would not pay sex workers for their services, according to investigators.''
