They ought to be able to determine origin ---can you imagine if it was your room and you left something on an d burned out a skyscrapers on NY eve....lordy

But i do have some thoughts --that video I posted earlier, it looks like an explosiion, on the other side of the building , at the ground level. How do we get from boom at ground level, to the 22 nd floor, with the floors between the two not burned heat rises?

I thought maybe a propane kitchen , but how would that get it 22 floor- it also likes the post a few back was on around floor 13-14, which in some ways would make sense (ie orgin 22 floor, floors ablaze falling down - and fighters focusing more on several floors above -- but then water goes downward?

Its just bizaire stuff from what we now know...

It was not cold last night i believe - who would turn on a heater?? exterior radiant heaters were placed in the terrace area,

just interesting in your thoughts "fire" did'nt the intial bang look to be lower floors ??

also fire--doesnt the smoke still emerging so many hours later, when it was my understadning, that basically it mostly the exterior that went up seems like a long time no?

What befuddles me (your explaination of embers flying helped, someowne had door open - embers flew in caught curtains. Evidently the supression stuff was late in activating -

But focus back on the first 5 seconds - throughout the rest of the event the lower part of the structure did not escalate.

I am lost as to , looking at the video , if the origin was lets say on the 3 floor , your embers helped, but why would not floors 3 4 56 7 etc right above the initial explosion, and it was IMO an explosion, and a pretty hearty one at that!

Its also baffling, several days in, that there has been mention of the first 5 seconds- they remain in the "started from the 20th floor" mode - the video clearly shows that is just not the case --no?

Sure looks like an "explosion " to me...................... I just dont see grandma falling asleep with a cig hanging out her mouth .. A transformer?

Check out the first 5 seconds --what do you think?? The intial "event" was clearly from lower floors. Your embers helped me, door open 22 floor, curtain ablaze, fire suression evident slow in activating, ok!

But how could (lets say first 5 seconds is on floor three - kitchen) how could floors 34567, throughout the entire event not be an ongoing fire. I would assume that area would be the hottest?

as the blaze went on the smoke did continue to eminate from mid way up on the totally opposite side of the structure.

In addition with the passage of time, why has the story remained "22th floor") when the first 5 seconds is clearly an explosion, a hearty one at that, (the sound wave was delayed!) at much lower location than what happened there after?

In whole, stuff is not making sense . CLearly they , by now would be able to move the "story" over to the first five seconds , at least mention it no?

Just the way you did - a propane explosion in the "Savory Inferno" restaurant ( sorry, just could not resist!) was the source of initial incident which then spread as embers flew upward?

The fire suppression systems/sprinklers would not have activated until a specific temperature was reached in the room or protected area..
