CL did not mention *advertiser censored* found. Other posters did...and mentioned some other activities Burke was involved in (stories that have been circulating for some time). CL was defending himself. Saying how he has cleaned up his life. He said his heroin addiction caused the shakedown at SCPD and may bring justice for others. He, did, have a lot to say about Burke. Nothing new. Paraphrasing.

She was last seen leaving a Holiday Inn Express in Hauppauge. Megan was one of the first victims discovered, wrapped in burlap, in mid-December 2010.

I may be wrong.....but I'm pretty sure this Leech Cruz was released in February this year.... If I am right....It means Megan's family aren't kept in the loop ...

He was released (on probation) BUT violated probation.

It really doesn't matter if Spota stays or goes. Spota is only a 'symptom' of the decay, not the cause. You folks know how I feel about Spota. When a lawyer named Perini ran against him in the primary I would have worked for Spota so this guy couldn't take over. I don't think Suffolk County can be fixed. How come we haven't turned on our TV's on Sunday morning and not seen Chucky talking about it?

Somewhat encouraged but I am not about to start a parade down Main Street. Start piecing it together strand by strand and then figure out WHY they might be involved. The FBI can do no better or worse than the cops in finding the killer(s). What they can do is to find out why the cops/DA seem to be avoiding their assistance.
Burke disbanded the Joint Gang Task Force. Burke didn't want the FBI poking around with his cops. The cops would have an outlet to readily pick up the phone and tell the FBI - guess what. This is what happened in the case that Burke and Spota caused the arrest of a decorated SCPD detective for allegedly leaking what they called 'confidential' information to the media. And that is the reason we are where we are now - or one of the reasons why Burke is in jail and deemed a threat to the community. Do you think the SCPD wanted the FEDS poking around in the Gilgo Case........LOL.

There are just too many people that can come out as damaged goods if this case is allowed to proceed without interference. The stink will rub off on them. If you remember the scene in Godfather I when Don Corleone and Hagan left the mafia summit meeting and were in the car and Hagan said it is Tattaglia who was in front of their troubles - The Don said : Tattalglia is a pimp, it was Barzini all the time.
Burke and Spota are PIMPS. The BARZINIs in this case extend as far away as Albany and then down to Washington, D.C. Here on Long Island a good place to start is at the Supervisor's Office for The Town of Babylon. Figure out why that guy at the Oheka Castle was shot and you might get more answers.

I would like to give my fellow SLEUTHER'S a 'homework' assignment so that you can begin to figure out the extent of the corruption. You should find enough information if you Google: SENTOSA NURSE'S CASE. In that case you will find a lot of money being passed around that should explain why these nurses and their lawyer were arrested. See who got at least $200,000.00 in donations. Then see what PIMP only got only $1500.00 in donations. See how these nurses were allowed to be put back into bondage after a certain politician got the Phillipine government to allow them to be once again recruited. Read what the Appellate Court said about Spota arresting these nurses and their lawyer.

Schumer received $125,000 in campaign contributions from Avalon for writing letters to the Philippine government to lift the ban. When the ban was lifted he received and additional $75,000. The nurses were promised nurses positions with their pay being commensurate with their position. Instead they were relegated to other jobs paying far less. They had to sign a contract that required them to pay Avalon $25,000.00 if they didn't complete a 3 year term of employment. They were promised decent living conditions until such time they could get on their feet and find suitable housing. They were put into housing without heat, running water, and were stockpiled in rooms with a number of beds. They resigned. They resigned in a legal fashion and the NYS agency that supervises nursing violations said they did no wrong. DA Spota and his then ADA are now being sued in federal court by the nurses and their lawyer for civil rights violations.
They are also being sued in federal court for another case that a wrongful arrest was made for another victim of their tyranny. That victim has already received an award from the organization that instigated her arrest for some she can’t disclose do to a gag order on the matter. She, too, is suing in federal court against the DA and ADA Lato. And I think she will be granted a huge sum of money either through a trail of an agreement.

I actually don't believe the feds actually have the calls made to Amanda. From my sources, I'm pretty sure they were never recorded. There's always a chance I'm wrong!

Hawk, mentioning the town of Babylon supervisor as being an obstacle to the Gilgo case is very wrong. That is BS and you know it.
