This is so sad. When will this end? No excuse to damage our babies. I hope they catch this guy and he gets what he deserves.

Seems unlikely the little girl would make something up like that but we don't know what she's been exposed to. Maybe her parents had the "stranger danger" conversation with her (or her siblings) and because she was a little late to dinner she used it as an excuse. Kids say the darnedest things sometimes. I hope she made it up, personally.

As for the other, sweet little girl who was violated, traumatized and injured, I hope with all of my heart that she gets the help she needs to recover. And the , well, may he get what's coming to him. And quick. He'll trip up somewhere, for sure. One doesn't do something as horrific as this and crawl back into the woodwork. P...O...S!
 
The (apparently fabricated) attempted abduction of the 4-year-old girl happened at 8.15pm. Isn't that around the same time in the evening this eight-year-old was abducted and raped?

Also, the four-year-old had scratches and no cctv was available.

This is such a coincidence. I'd really like to know why police are so sure the earlier abduction attempt was fabricated.

Too much of a coinky-dink, imo. It would make more sense it was fabricated if she told that story AFTER she heard about the 8 yr old. But I don't think she had the time or the chance to hear about that yet. Very odd.
 
This little girl has my respect and love. She will continue to shine light in her life and that of others.

The family tells Action News that the girl remains in the hospital barely able communicate. Her recovery, they say, will be long and difficult. -

Her father also went to the scene of the attack Monday, with a message for the person who changed his family forever.

“We ain't going to stop and you're going to pay,” said the father. I've never seen such heartfelt passion! Dad's plea brought tears and anguish. Still praying that the twisted monster (I can't call him an animal, animals don't do these horrific things) is caught and soon, with the least amount of trauma added to that beautiful little victim. And thanks so much to MAD DADS for their effort and support for the family and community.
I certainly hope that LE reopens the case of the 4 year old with the 'suspected' abduction story. Great find Zwie!!! She may just remember something. I don't believe this is the perp's first offense.
 
Something tells me they will catch this . And once they do, LE will be the least of his concerns. Pig.
 
I think he may have confessed to someone. Not outright, but in a way that someone close to him strongly suspects him of the crime now. That person will know they should come forward and I hope they do, as any other course of action will have an even worse outcome in future.

I have nothing to base my ideas on except certain previous cases where perps of such crimes have strongly hinted or 'given away' what they did, to people close to them. I just feel that's one of these cases.

While their dirty laundry may be in the news, it almost certainly has nothing to do with the brutal attack on this child. I don't see any benefit to discussing it here.

This young girl and her family can use all the positive thoughts we can spare.

The media's energy would be better spent on finding the assailant than this. Honestly, it feels like they are trying to cast blame on them.

No news still? This case just breaks my heart. I am heading over to the go fund me site to donate, at least I can do that. I hope we see this little gal on TV news shows one of these days so she show us how strong she is. :thinking: :thinking:
