After reading the police report I totally agree stories are changing some. This is the first time I have heard this version. She went to bed at 10:30, Haleigh and R.Jr were in the same bed sleeping, she woke up a little before 3 to go get a drink notice Haleigh gone looked frantically for her and about 5 minutes later Ronald pulled in the driveway. The police arrived at the scene at 3:40. What does recordings seized not stolen mean? The report also shows Haleigh as a male wearing pink shirt and tan shorts.

Yep....also no cinder block....no kitchen light....back in the same bed....Geez, I hope this girl is just really confused. OR, she didn't take enough time to get her story straight.

The police report says nothing about train tracks. Said the dog stopped at a small building not far from her residence.
Her footprint indicates she walked with her abductor.

I thought the footprint was said to have been a shoe footprint and that her dad said her shoes were in the house. That was on Greta.

I thought the footprint was said to have been a show footprint and that her dad said her shoes were in the house. That was on Greta.

Tonia-I read this straight from the police report back 2 pages ago. I think my response also included the link. It said it appeared to be a child's bare foot print

It says they ended at the railroad crossing because the dogs were not able to track further.

I can not believe that if there were a sighting of a girl with men....we would have heard about that.

Thanks :blowkiss::blowkiss::blowkiss: In the spirit of Valentines Day, let's do a "have a heart" donation blitz. Have your kids draw a heart, you draw a heart, whatever, send in some kind of heart with a donation even if its a buck. Lets see how many members from each state we can get.

God Bless Tim Miller and his team of angels.

Ok...Re-watched it. Grandpa says Crystal called him at about 5:15. He said she was called at 5:00, he believed. She did not believe it until he drove over there and called her back and told her about the police. She lives 1:45 mins. away.

So no, I had it right....lol
Sorry this where I got my time from

snipped from nancy grace transcript found here

GRACE: That is contrary to what we were told last night. We were told last night the 5-year-old girl was in the bed with the girlfriend/baby-sitter and the 4-year-old brother. Now, if they were in the same room, fine, I understand that. But even a slight change in story is highly significant.

With me right now, a very special guest, the mother of missing Haleigh. Crystal Sheffield is joining us there at the Satsuma command center. Ms. Sheffield, thank you for being with us.

CRYSTAL SHEFFIELD, MOTHER: You`re welcome.

GRACE: Ms. Sheffield, where were you at the time little Haleigh went missing?

SHEFFIELD: I was in Baker County, at my house.

GRACE: How did you learn she was gone?

SHEFFIELD: Ronald`s mother, Teresa Nieves (ph), called me at 3:49 AM in the morning and told me that Haleigh was gone.

GRACE: And what did you do?

SHEFFIELD: At first, I thought it was a prank, kind of. And then she was, like, The police are there, and I heard them in the background and then it hit me that it was not a prank.

GRACE: OK. Now, what time did you say they called you?

SHEFFIELD: It was 3:49 AM.

GRACE: And who called you?

SHEFFIELD: Teresa Nieves, Ronald`s mother.

did she say a drink of what??? (sorry couldn't resist that one).

I mean, if everybody thinks this girl sleeps like a rock (as alot of kids her age do), but I've never heard of one getting up in the middle of the night for a drink of water. You don't wake up from a dead sleep because you are thirsty.

wearing a pink shirt and tan shorts........ if she was put to bed for the evening why wasn't she wearing pajamas???

Thanks,so many different reports in this story.

I read there are several county police departments working on this + 4 days. I am impressed with the response on this case.

Me too, time is so important in this case. I hate to think of what Haleigh might be going through.

You're so right, we can't ignore the fact that the hounds did hit down there. And they brought in more dogs today and came up with some type of leads, so maybe the dogs hit again.

Which dogs hit though, scent dogs or cadaver dogs?

Correcting semantics here, I have never heard the phrase "shoe footprint". There are footprints and shoeprints.
