I compared him last night & ended up thinking it wasn't likely him. But who knows, it's possible!

The doe is definitely "MH", so I'd compare to his photos.

Collier Sheriff's Office asks for help to identify man found dead in Big Cypress Preserve

Nichalaus Horton felt exhausted, thirsty and achy, and he only wanted to sit down after hiking more than 10 miles with a friend in Big Cypress National Preserve one evening late last month.
The two men arrived at a sign with news they welcomed: a campsite and some water were only 100 yards away.
He was slightly irritated when they arrived at the campsite and came across a yellow tent near a picnic table. They saw hiking boots and poles outside the tent. He didn’t want to intrude on a camper’s space, but he needed to get off his feet. They were about 6 miles from the car, and Horton didn’t know how much longer he could walk.

A retired co worker thru hiked the AT a few years ago and I have asked him if he knew of Mostly Harmless and forwarded his photos. It’s not probable but worth a try.

I saw that too. That looks like his AT name. My coworker did not know him but he is making the rounds on the sites. He was aware of him.

Apparently that was his trail name, but by the time he got to Alabama he was going by Mostly Harmless or just Harmless.

Found a very interesting article about a fugitive that basically hid while hiking the Appalachain Trail. He was only known by his trail name "Bismarck". Nobody knew his real name. Very interesting.
