Wonderful news! I doubt we'll ever know what happened, but I am happy he's safe. The family must be overjoyed :)

Apologies, I missed the earlier links.

Interesting comments on Action News Jax's FB page, CMK, under JC's comment. Hopefully that is made up information.

Per the comments referenced above, I found this arrest record through Union County, NC. Search incident date. I am so thankful for his family that he is safe, but I'm sad they had to go through this, for whatever reason. I hope he wasn't doing anything nefarious as there were a lot of worried people out searching for him for days.

Unless there is more information released, this will be my last comment or speculation on this case. I'm wondering if his wife suspected he was up to something (illegal/affair) and told him if he wasn't home by X:00, she will report him as missing, because that timeline did happen very quickly, IMO. Perhaps he thought she was bluffing and made himself disappear. Or maybe he was planning on disappearing all along. I hope none of this was his doing, and I'm glad for the daughter that nothing happened because it was her birthday the day he disappeared.

Glad to know they can resolve this amongst themselves now and have time to heal.

It appears that this was not an arrest record as stated, but that the Lincomfelt's were actually the "victims" of the incident. Even though his disappearance is resolved, doesn't seem fair to portray him in that light.

My sincere apologies. I misunderstood the document, agree with you, and see your point. I shouldn't have posted in such haste and will be more careful in the future.

This isn't looking like an arrest?

I posted the incorrect graphic, sorry.

His arrest records can be found through a quick Google search for those interested. I'll delete the above report.

Indeed. Seems the arrest record is directly tied to incident report. Insurance fraud.

Well, as usually happens. He was found safe down (4-5 hours south) in seedy Hollywood, FL. It used to be a pill mill area, some still are there. Also, as usual - the family begs for the publics help, but then after the loved one is found they plead for privacy. We need to know the truth. Especially the search volunteers. This is a grown man.

Was any new information announced today at the search meeting, Camdenres?

Sorry to be so behind on this. I actually did not go as the rumors going around Friday night were fairly indicative to he was not "missing" the way we had been led to believe.

Some of us called off the search Saturday because significant amounts of information was being intentionally withheld or manipulated. We began pursuing other directions; he showed up the next day.
What do you think was being withheld? I ask because I saw what I thought to be significantly valuable info was deleted from Social Media. It was someone who saw the truck and and asked about what decals it had in the back window. No one replied and then it was deleted. That was either Wednesday or Thursday.

more info:

Calvin Lincomfelt was reported missing Monday after he never showed up to his family's Bartram Park condo. He told his wife he was driving home from a job in New Smyrna Beach and that he'd be home around 3 p.m.

Ormond Beach Police said he was seen was on surveillance video at a McDonald’s drive-through at 2:23 p.m. After his wife reported him missing, investigators learned his cellphone pinged at a location five minutes from their home.

Police said he was passing a Hollywood, Florida, hospital and checked himself in for evaluation.

Police said he knew his biographical information, but could not articulate where he had been or what he was doing during the past several days.

Hospital staff searched Calvin Lincomfelt's name on Google and found news releases and social media posts about his missing status.

Ormond Beach police were notified that he was located.

I hadn't seen that information online before. Interesting....

My thought is that she told him to be home by a certain time or she was calling him in as a missing person. And that's what happened. [emoji21] MOO
