Panama City, Fla. (AP) Christmas came early for the Salvage Santa program, run by a hero of the school board shooting.
Authorities say the Brahmin purse Bay School District board member Ginger Littleton used Dec. 14 to smack gunman Clay Duke sold Wednesday for $13,100 on eBay. The buyer lives in Alexandra, Va., and asked to remain anonymous.
The purse manufacturer, based in Fairhaven, Mass., says it will match the bid. That means the charity founded 27 years ago by Mike Jones will get $26,200.
