Does anyone know if the Markels have an attorney for a civil case against the Adelsons?

They are represented by Orin Snyder, who is an extremely well-respected prestigious lawyer that normally works in a totally unrelated practice area (think high-level corporate work), but has been helping the family due to some personal relationship he had with them.

As noted, the family has good counsel. A good civil trial lawyer will wait to see how criminal proceedings play out before going to war. ALL of this testimony is now evidence available in a civil action. Convictions are admissible in civil trials and if there is a chance of CA or DA being found guilty of a criminal offense it would make proceeding MUCH easier.

I know nothing about WhatsApp so be gentle, but....if she gave someone her password or whatever to that app, can history be recovered?
Unfortunately, no. WhatsApp does not hold ANY info on their servers so it is up to the sender/recipient to save any messages (printing or screen grabs).

I think there is a 2 year statute of limitations in Florida for a civil wrongful death case. 2 years run from the date of death. Time may have run out. JMO.

Ok so I’m really trying to understand the jury. They convicted SG on LR’s testimony and the bus and atm videos, right? Why didn’t they believe him about KM when there was SO MUCH MORE evidence (texts, finanaces, lies, phone calls through wire taps). I don’t get it.

Thank you. What's your take on Rivera being brought to the courthouse today?
