WCSO SEARCHES FOR CARYVILLE WOMAN

(WASHINGTON COUNTY, FL; May 29, 2018) – Washington County Sheriff’s Office is in search of any information that may lead to the whereabouts of 45-year-old Deena Michelle Zimmerman of Caryville, FL.

Zimmerman, who is a Washington County resident, was reported missing by family members Tuesday after she reportedly had not been seen or heard from since leaving for work on Sunday evening.

WCSO has confirmed Zimmerman was last seen leaving her place of employment in Graceville, wearing dark blue nursing scrubs, just after 12:00 a.m. on Monday morning, May 28th. At this point in the investigation, WCSO Investigators have uncovered information which leads them to believe Zimmerman’s last known location was in Washington County.

She was last seen driving a silver 2012 Toyota Camry bearing Florida plate HVWA60. Zimmerman is a white female, with brown hair, brown eyes, who stands at approximately 5’ 2” tall and weighs approximately 145 lbs.

Not much info on this one yet. She works as a nurse at a state prison in Graceville, FL. I wonder if someone was watching/waiting for her when she left work. I live in a city not far from there, and it was stormy that night with the tropical storm approaching. Praying for her to be found safe.

I live in same area. 10 miles from her work place and 10 miles from her home. Nothing has come about this besides them uncovering ping in Washington county. But that could be chipley, or caryville. They are 30 miles apart...

And chances are if she was traveling home that map is no where close to how she might've went home. Hwy2 would make more sense for her to drive. But the thing is Washington county breaks into Holmes county then back in Washington county.

If she went home from chipley she could've taken interstate or hwy 90. If she was in a hurry to get home she would've taken interstate. That was also memorial weekend and several people traveling to Panama city beach straight thru chipley.

Jackson County Sheriff Lou Roberts said Wednesday that surveillance footage has been located which indicates she may have made as far as Chipley in the wee hours of Monday morning after leaving her job, but that the search continues here as well. The case is being treated as both a missing person instance and as a potential criminal incident at this early point in the investigation of her disappearance

From graceville To chipley is country farm lands. Gas stations In chipley are not secluded, and at that time of night only three would be open. Tom thumb, Murphy usa Wal-Mart, and burger king gas station all in town very lit up. Now, caryville is another story. Caryville is dark, many drugs, and rivers and a few females have gone missing from that way.

I personally would not stop anywhere in caryville alone at night with out a man present or carrying.. And I've lived here for 35 years. Caryville not best place..
