A few more details. Born Jerry Allen Floyd on 26 June 1952 (I think this should be 1953) in Clinton, N Carolina. This is from a Social Security Index entry on Ancestry which confirms death in February 1983. Other records show he lived in Daytona Beach but had also previously lived in Ypsilanti, Michigan. His SSN was issued in Michigan in 1967/8 so I assume his family moved there when he was a child. Unfortunately that is all as there are no family trees.
