There isn't much on her, but I thought I'd post what little I found.

A State of Florida Profile:

http://pas.fdle.state.fl.us/pas/person/viewMissingPerson-238630.a

States: White female, 5'0", 105, strawberry or blonde hair, brown eyes.

A social networking site with a comment from her older sister - includes a photo

She is sometimes listed as Kaycee as opposed to Kay Cee, however I located a marriage record on Ancestry and maiden name is listed as Kay Cee Anglin. She was married on 4/23/1983.

She is not on NamUs.

I found this UID interesting. Of course, the height doesn't work, but I've found that 5'0" seems to be the generic selection for "I have no clue."

Although the reconstruction photo doesn't look blonde at all, it does say strawberry blonde in the description.

This is my first attempt at a side by side:

She is on NamUs now.

Circumstances: Lemire left the residence to go to a bar.

I submitted the UID above right around the time I posted it, and the ME said they would look into it. It appears that DNA is on file, so hopefully they did. I will try following up on it.

have you looked at Ponchartrain Jane Doe .... The time frame is a little over 2 years later the noses are not the same however height eye color is close

Do you mean this one from Louisiana? http://doenetwork.org/cases/16ufla.html

I was looking at her today for another case, but the MP I was searching for is a rule out.
This UID possibly had rhinoplasty so that could explain the nose. She also had breast implants.
I'm thinking if Kay Cee has DNA in the system it should be an automatic rule out, but nothing says you can't submit an inquiry. You never know.

I'm wondering if she were a military spouse. Not sure why, I just get that vibe.
It's possible her family had just lost touch with her and they don't realize she's missing or maybe she had little to no family to report her. It's really sad.

I wish we knew more about Kaycee. I don't recall off the top of my head but was Lake Pontchartrain a short interval?

I'm not even totally sure whether Kaycee went missing in 83 or 84. LE sites say 83 but postings from her sister say 84.

I contacted the ME for the UID in post #2 and he agreed that it was a promising match but neither he or I have been able to get any response from Tampa PD to see if Kaycee had the tattoos that the UID had. So frustrating.

Would her sister know about the tattoos by chance?

She very well could but I don't have Google Plus and that was where I saw her comment along with the photo of Kaycee. It's still there but it looks like that was the only thing ever posted by her and it was in 2014 I think.

It seems to me like this is one of those cases that was opened or reopened decades later, there is confusion about the year she went missing and all so it's hard to say if the details listed were al the family could recall.

I just stumbled upon this UID in NamUS The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) found in Altoona FL which is in Lake County (a little over 100 miles apart) The weight and height are a match 5'1 and 100 lbs for both - age range is close UID is 17-20 Kaycee was 22 when she went missing. Hair color is close Kaycee said to have had strawberry blonde hair and the UID is to have reddish/brown. Kaycee is also not on the rule out list. I read on a FB post that she does have DNA and dentals in NamUs. The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs). I think I am going to submit this possible match.

Can someone take a look at this for me, please? The similarities are too much for me to just pass it by, though there is very little info on either case. Height and weight match. Age is a little off, but not enough to rule it out. The pictures look similar, as well. Last contact with Kaycee was September 5, 1983. UID was found September 19, 1983. Now, the UID was found as skeletal remains, so I'm not sure if that excludes Kaycee (I'm unclear of the decomposition process). I'd love some feedback on this.

I checked the UP's Doe Network page. I'm not an expert on decomposition, but they list her estimated time of death was several months to a year prior to discovery.
