Could’ve been a drug smuggler. That would explain no ID and not being able to trace the plane. Unless the fire was bad enough to destroy all forms of ID.

Does that refer to the person or the frame of the burned out airplane? I know it's listed like it's the person but something in the wording makes me feel like it's describing the plane.
 
No mention of this plane in the Aviation Safety Network database in the area and timeframe given.
In fact, no mention of aircraft model suggests the possibility that it was custom built, which would almost certainly indicate it was used for drug smuggling. MOO

Most likely ’body frame’ refers to the unidentified person in the aircraft. If it referred to the aircraft it would use ’fuselage’ and not ’body frame.’
