Was Lauren considering reclaiming custody of her child ? hmmm<mod snip: recommending that members sleuth and/or discuss a non POI>
Police work to trace Cape Coral woman's suspicious disappearance
Paul admits his daughter’s gone through some tough times but has been on the straight and narrow since she lost custody of her child two years ago. Lauren has a young daughter of 5 years old, who lives up north with her paternal grandmother.
Yes and the same for the purse too.I know everyone has asked about the cameras but I cannot believe they don't have footage of that beach... If nothing more an image of the beach without the shirt and then next frames with a shirt to possibly get a timeline. Then check cell pings to see who was in that area around that time.
I wonder if there was anything in her purse when it was found? Had it been emptied/items taken as in money, wallet, etc? Can’t recall now if her wallet was still at home.Yes and the same for the purse too.
I’m sure they have footage. It’s a public park funded by tax dollars. They will not likely say anything publicly so they don’t risk the investigation. No doubt they’re building a timeline. I’d say they have a lot of video to sift thru still.I know everyone has asked about the cameras but I cannot believe they don't have footage of that beach... Good question. It sounds like she really wanted the best for her daughter. The paternal family must have stepped up and/or Lauren thought they’d be the best resource for her little one. I really hope the little one’s dad is part of her life. Was Lauren considering reclaiming custody of her child ? hmmm
Yes, and a large portion of north Cape Coral remains empty and undeveloped.Something tells me this lady isn’t that close to home. JMO I think they need to go out further from her home to search. Maybe they are and we don’t realize it.
There are a lot of unincorporated areas in SWFL. The peace river is not that far away and there are many tributaries off it. There’s a lot of wildlife that can quickly scatter remains. I-75 or Alligator Alley runs thru some very remote areas which have pretty easy access to water.
If the area is like the unincorporated or rural areas of North Port and Port Charlotte, one of the best things they can do is check out the local off-road type activities.Yes, and a large portion of north Cape Coral remains empty and undeveloped.
I’ve heard his words repeated a few times. I don’t hear any sense of urgency, no overt concern, no begging for help, etc. Entirely too flippant tone of voice for his partner of 4 years. JMOBoyfriend of missing Cape Coral woman speaks
Play the video to hear Gabriel Pena speak about Lauren's disappearance.
As I recall the guy she asked about apts saw her the 18th at the park and the BF last saw her the morning of the 19th before he went to work. I wonder when anyone else last heard from or or saw her on or prior to the 18th. I wonder when her last shift at Taco Bell was too.Just thinking about the timeline of when she went missing... Are the only two people to see her were the 'rental guy' and BF being the 18th and 19th... How much do we know about this other guy? Possibly him and BF are friends? Could this go back prior to the 18t)19? I don't recall when someone last spoke to her.
I just hope she was not coerced by someone from LWoTW to go on some “journey”
Traffickers are pretty coercive and someone could have posed as a “friend” but really be “foe”
(Not trying time think the worse but people have to keep an open mind)
Her disappearance is disturbing to me as I live in this town too.
