From GHI part 2 YT, about 36:00 min mark:

Per MS's closest childhood friend, MS and SS texted several times during the day and she talked to him a couple times per week in the evening when home. She liked her mom's bf even though he no longer lived with them. She never saw him take MS to school, only her JS or grandmother -- MS never walked to school since she's known her.

SS/JS did not attend her bday party held at her grandmother's house. MS was upset that JS did not gift her $$ for her bday as she expected.

She did not know MS to talk to older men/women online and had no inappropriate behavior at school or online.

She was aware MS took Rx for Adhd and biopolar (and also reported mother JS was biopolar) and did not like taking Rx because she felt she had more energy when off meds. She would intentionally miss her Rx doses. Believed she last took Rx on 2/14.

Friend made another reference to MS being close with her step-dad.

Same friend's father searched for MS in the woods near their school but was unsuccessful locating MS. (MS told friend about wanting to live in the woods and build a house in the woods).

About 40:00 min mark --
Comments from school counselor who met with MS 6 times since beginning of school year. MS would come to see her claiming she had anxiety due to feeling over-stimulated at school environment. She complained about her mother's expectations of her and JS was often upset with MS over her being forgetful and not cleaning up/chores as expected, making MS more anxious.

MS TOLD COUNSELOR MOM'S BF WAS WEIRD AND MADE HER FEEL UNCOMFORTALBE. HE WOULD ALSO EAT THEIR FOOD AND HUNG OUT IN THEIR LIVING ROOM. MS TOLD THE COUNSELOR THAT SS WAS MOVING OUT AND SHE WAS DOING BETTER IN SCHOOL. IN FEB, LAST MEETING, MS REPORTED TO COUNSELOR THINGS WERE BETTER AT HOME WITH JS AND ALSO AT SCHOOL.

2nd period school teacher interview:
Confirmed the identity of MS's friends and reported MS was shy around authority figures and would bring a friend with her to talk to teacher.

MS was nominated as student of the week mid February.

She did not see signs of depression, but was very surprised to hear MS missing because she was shy, uncomfortable being alone.

Another teacher nominated MS student of the week for decorating school doors expressing kindness. (Extracurricular).

Teacher did not believe JS ever attended school open house, and teacher never met JS.

MS was a D student in her reading class and she was surprised to learn she expressed wanting to live in the woods. MS had sleepy days at school. Expressed surprise when assigned a story that discussed kissing and friends told teacher MS was shocked to learn lyrics by Lady Gaga had sexual meaning. Friends believed MS was a virgin.

A male school teacher also reported MS had sleepy days but was improving. Seemed to have more energy after first of the year. [i.e., SS moved out?].

Same teacher had no parent/teacher contact with JS despite JS once being a substitute teacher for his class.

1:27:00 - search warrants...

1:46:00 - Officer searched the family vehicles which were negative for MS. Officer also observed a handgun inside SS vehicle which SS acknowledged and said he kept inside the vehicle.

Ending on page 346 per GH.

[..]

Stephan Sterns, the boyfriend of Madeline's mother, was charged with her murder on April 24, nearly two months after she was first reported missing. He currently remains in custody. In an update from the State Attorney's Office this week, prosecutors are seeking the death penalty in this case should he be convicted.

The new documents obtained by FOX 35 reveal new details about that search and how and where her body was found – and how it possibly got there.

On Feb. 26, investigators obtained surveillance video that shows a trash compactor where a tread from Sterns' car and objects belonging to Madeline were eventually found. Her belongings included a black backpack. Investigators said Sterns was caught on video throwing these objects into the trash compactor on the morning of the teen's reported disappearance.

[..]

About an hour after that, Sterns' car was found on surveillance footage turning into the parking garage of Holiday Inn Club Vacations on South John Young Parkway in Orlando, according to the documents. He drove up to the top level of the parking garage and got out of his car at around 9:42 a.m. A man matching Sterns' description was seen allegedly opening the trunk, walking to the passenger seat, opening the door and carrying "what appeared to be a limp female body to the trunk of the vehicle," the documents allege.

At 9:44 a.m., he's seen driving away.

After days of searching for the teen's body, it was eventually found just off Hickory Tree Road in St. Cloud, according to law enforcement. It's an area that Sterns was reportedly seen changing a tire on that day.

This was a detail that was previously known, but the new documents shed light on where and how her body was found.

An officer noticed that near a line of bamboo trees was what appeared to be a pair of blue jeans, the documents said.

[..]

It remains unclear at this time how Madeline died. The Medical Examiner's Office has declined to release Madeline's autopsy report, citing the investigation and state law.

Below is the timeline according to Sterns’ written and verbal accounts and video surveillance detailed, all of which were found in documents given to Spectrum News by investigators:

7:00 a.m.-7:15 a.m.: Sterns told detectives that he and Madeline woke up to get an early start so they could get McDonald's on the way to school.

7:35 a.m.: Video shows a male, believed to be Sterns, discarding a trash bag filled with items in the trash compactor of his apartment complex. In the video, there is a female wearing a green sweater, believed to be Madeline, in the front seat of the vehicle. The female appeared completely slumped over with her mouth “ajar.”

7:30-7:45 a.m.: Sterns says they left home and drove towards McDonald’s at 14001 Town Loop Boulevard.

7:50 a.m.: Video shows the car leaving the apartment complex through the back gate with male with a red shirt and a female wearing a green sweater. The female appeared to be sitting upright with her head slumped to her left side.

On the way to McDonald's, Sterns says Madeline slept the entire time. Once they arrived nearby McDonald’s, Sterns says he asked if she still wanted McDonald’s and she said no.

According to Sterns, he made the U-tum in a church parking lot to “sell her on McDonald’s one more time” because he was still hungry. But when she said she just wanted to go to school, Sterns says they turned around again in the parking lot of the church and continued towards school.

Sterns says he had forgotten his “gate clicker” and returned home. Instead of dropping Madeline off at school first, he said she went with him back to their home because they had “plenty of time to kill” because the school bell doesn’t ring until 9:15 a.m. This return for the gate clicker was not mentioned earlier in the interview until deputies pressed him about seeing his vehicle traveling southbound in the direction of Kissimmee.

8:19 a.m.: Video shows male with a red shirt, believed to be Sterns, entering through the front gate of the apartment complex in his car. There is still a passenger in the car, believed to be Madeline, in the same position as she was before.

Sterns says after grabbing the clicker, he and Madeline head out again towards school.

8:20 a.m.-8:40 a.m.: Sterns says he dropped Madeline off at a community south of the State Road 417 overpass. Sterns says she was going through a “phase” and was “embarrassed of his vehicle and did not like to be dropped off at the school in it.”

8:40 a.m.-10 a.m.: Sterns told detectives he was “cruising around a bit.”

Sterns says he went to a local vape shop, but it was closed.

9:40 a.m.: Video shows a vehicle matching the description of Sterns pulling into a Holiday Inn on S. John Young Parkway. A male wearing a red shirt exits the car and opens the trunk. He opens the passenger side door and carries what appears to be a limp body to the trunk of the vehicle.

10 a.m.: Sterns says he returns home.

Due to difficulties with cameras at the rear of the complex, detectives were not able to observe any other video of the car leaving through the back gate. Investigators said they did not see the car come through the front gate from around 8:30 a.m. until 4:35 p.m.

11 a.m.: Sterns says he left home again to go to the vape shop again.

Documents show that detectives were able to find a video of a man at the vape store. The man was a white male who purchased items and left. This document does not detail what time the video was captured, or if it lines up with Sterns’s own timeline.

Sterns says he left the vape shop, and returned home.

12:45 p.m.: Sterns says he left home to run errands heading to the area of US-192.

As mentioned above, due to difficulties with cameras at the rear of the complex, detectives were not able to observe any other video of the car leaving through the back gate.

Sterns says he visited "Coliseum of Comics” and stopped at a couple of Target stores.

Sterns said he was headed to “House Rules Games” on Oak Street and U.S. 192 but did not make it that far because he got a flat tire.

The Kissimmee Police Department later received a tip that someone observed a man matching Sterns' description changing a car tire. Deputies with the Osceola County Sheriff's Office arrived to the scene and found Soto's body in a green sweater in a wooded area.

2:35 p.m.: Sterns says he arrived home after fixing the flat tire.

4:35 p.m.: Multiple cameras captured what is believed to be Sterns arriving to the complex trash compactor in the silver Lincoln sedan. According to documents, he removed a tire, or what appeared to be the tread of a tire, and tossed it in the compactor.

Following the disappearance of Madeline Soto, deputies were able to find a tire in in the compactor, matching the tread pattern of Sterns’ rear passenger tire. In close proximity, investigators found a trash bag containing a backpack determined to be Madeline’s.

Stephan Sterns documents in the Madeline Soto case.Dropbox

Stacy has put the 896 documents on dropbox. I think you can sign up for a free dropbox account and then download them to your computer. If you try and download them to your phone they are too big I think.
Sorry, I am not up to date on how to handle dropbox. I really want to try and let everyone see these documents for free.
Note - Tricia has approved the download of the documents via Dropbox
