Two different people vouched for 2 of our mystery men. One vouched for Ickie, saying he'
s a very nice man and she knows him. The other guy, the guy on the left with the mustache in the video clip, is a neighbor to the Thompsons. His last name is Irish...O'something.

Stick man has been id' - Mp initials - he is not a RSO
Icki - man in yellow shirt all over press as been id'ed by poster here and is harmless
The man on the left above, is also a neighbor
The man on the right is a RSO from GA

Gotcha.... the thread was moving fast all day today and so this is how it all got twisted... ha... at least for me. Thank you for clearing this up.

It's late. I get stoopid when I'm overly tired. Well okay, more stoopid than normal.

Before I open my mouth and put my foot in it (further); for those of you who DON'T know me I find nothing about this entire situation funny. But every once in a while, something happens, and the stupid humor I find in seemingly mundane things is what keeps me sane in light of the fact that I can't stop coming here. That said, then along comes this picture.

Now A) I think this lady reporter is gonna be sooooooome kinda pizzed off at ~momt~ when she see's what's become of her head. B) do you kinda get the impression, based on her expression, that the girl behind her on your right knew it was coming to this?

Oh....no, I don't think it's the same guy. I was sifting thru video's earlier, can't remember where, and the guy on the left was all over the place passing out flyers, etc. He's sporting a pony tail and though he does resemble this guy a lot but I really don't think it's the same guy.

That said, consider that I have a history of being persuaded to change my mind. My vision is not 20/20 these days and I suck at facial recognition. The angle of the face on the guy on the right is just all wrong to use as a comparison shot. It's as if he's posed for someone to look up his nose.

Someone here said that Somer's body was found partially clothed. Never did find a news source that confirmed that statement. Does anyone have the answer?

ETA: This is not a reliable link in that there is other information generally believed to be incorrect. This seems to be the only story indicating Somer was partially clothed; others have partially covered.

Does this jibe with others saying she mostly liked to play inside?

Does this guy have kids? Else how would he really know this?

Has anyone sleuthed him yet?

I'm on it now Mommya. Pages and pages of this same article pop up but then found a business profile...some type of power equipment company he's associated with. So far that's all I see.

I think it's interesting that in the Sheriff's interview on Monday he says about the suspect..."he might not be here in Orange Park". I just think the way he seems to downplay any present danger means that they are watching a suspect who has left the Orange Park area.

If the murder was sexually motivated and done by a pedophile wouldn't the profile have to mention that? I wonder if this is being done to scare the person instead of actually getting a profile out there. There's going to be scared parents in that area if the profile hints that a child killer has resurfaced.

This is why I hate the accepted methods of profiling. Will the profile say something to the effect that he is a pedophile (if she was sexually assaulted)? Yes, but will the public see that part of the profile? Probably not, we will get a canned version that gives only the most general of statements. LE will have a much more complete version that we will more than likely get to see once they catch someone.
LE is still in control of what we know, because they will only release part of it, but there will be enough to work with, there usually is.

The question is, have they only left the area after Somer, or did they originally come in from somewhere else?

Somer Thompson's body has been found. Somer Thompson, 7, missing since Monday, was found in a Georgia landfill. This was 50 miles north of Jacksonville, Florida, where she was abducted. Somer Thompson was found partially clothed.

Well the article also states:

Somer Thompson apparently was viewed being kidnapped by witnesses. She was taken away screaming. No one was able to intervene effectively.

I have never heard of any witnesses to the actual abduction.
